I love this. It increases the immersion and makes it feel like the real deal. Only cosmetic issue I have is that on Alpha sprites the shine silhouette becomes too thick literally looking like two fighters standing side by side instead of just a reflection off their bodies.

Thanks! With my system you can easily adjust thickness of the shade via stage parameters, until you find the thickness you like. :D
They did something similar in KoF Final Attack Mugen.

No, if characters apply their own PalFX they will override the stage tint.
