      @ZiggieHood yup! It’s the cub cadet model! I added two springs to the plow to improve its bite when plowing. I found it folded over on itself too easily when pushing heavy snow.

      @iambigsteveo Yeah that's one of the complaints I've seen in several reviews on Cub Cadets website. You have a garden tractor right? I just have a lawn tractor but it's got 23 hp. Hopefully it'll work good. We don't get much snow in Missouri

    Very good carburetor replacement. Looks like it was a success. The carburators on these two cycles are set slightly rich so the engine gets enough lubrication through the fuel and runs cooler. If it doesn't get enough fuel oil mixture the engine will get excessively hot. Between 550 and 700 degrees and the piston and cylinder will get scored up/ destroyed. Then the engine is toast unless you want to replace the cylinder and piston. I would rather my engines sputter/ run slightly rich a little on the top end and last a long time rather than they scream and burn the piston and cylinder up. When you are running wide open these engines are heating up between 400 and 500 degrees set at the factory. If I can keep my engine happy around 300 to 400 maximum degrees I'm cool with a tiny power reduction and have it running for years. When the carburetor is leaned out to top rpm they heat up between 550 to 700 degrees and begin to fry. At those temperatures they won't last long.

      @iambigsteveo 5 дней назад

      People should never solely rely on a diy video on RUclips, that should go without saying. I’m showing what I encountered while doing the work and how I went about the job. I never considered myself as a master mechanic nor have I expressed myself to be one. I did this job in my spare time with general vehicle knowledge and basic hand tools while I work a desk job full time during the week. I feel the video is clear enough for most or all people to do the job if they feel brave to do so. Good luck with tackling this, I hope my video was informative enough for you to get a feel for the procedure.

    That blade just cost me $27 w/ tax from Amazon. Bought two 22" Mopar front blades (the driver's is 22, the passenger is SUPPOSED to be 21 - but 22 will barely fit) off Amazon for $26 a piece. The 21 was like $10 more expensive. The "GOOD" blades in autozone were $40 each - and I refuse to spend that. The MOPAR blades work great and are definitely worth it as long as you can find them for the same price as AutoZone's house brand wipers.
