Apple already knows the biggest hurdle of the Apple Vision Pro $$$. The meta quest is priced at the consumer consumable level. Even at that its break through is limited. I do agree we are in the early stages of this budding industry. The headsets that came before are the equivalent to the shoulder strap cell phones while the Vision Pro is the first flip phone.

Thank you for this video. The information in this video is so self evident I’m beginning to believe in conspiracy theories. People are pushing out so much misinformation and anger directed at the AVP and I don’t know why. No other XR headset experienced it. I appreciate your level headed presentation of XR’s unique spatial computing contribution to the future of computing.

I’m scared for the battery

Tech enthusiasts love toys and the future. The problem with the Humane AI Pin is that it's neither of those two. They try to frame it as a smartphone replacement (the future) even though it looks more like an accessory/gadget (toy). This is perceived as a bold claim, and unsurprisingly, it will invite skepticism even from tech enthusiasts because they don't want to be betrayed. If they framed it as a toy or experimental gadget, maybe it would become more accepted. For me, AI Pin is less interesting because I'm already into AR, which can do more (and also avoid voice because it's still a huge problem now).

The next big thing is most likely going to be AR/VR mixed in with A.I that can see the world around you. I doubt this will catch on.

I actually take my phone out to type stuff like "cup to ml" "tablespoon to teaspoon" or "kg to pound" etc instead of asking Alexa echo that was just few feet away... Somehow taking out phone and google stuff just feel more "convenient" instead of saying hey Alexa blah blah blah and wait (3 out of 10 times they made mistake) and then smart speaker would ask stuff like would you like me to subscribe amazon prime? I would need to reply NO. It's just such a hassle...
