So if I remove the wiper linkage and plastic cowl, I can get it from the top? How many bolts are holding the manifold from under vehicle?

@@michiganman845after disconnecting the midpipe you only have 3 bolts from the bottom that secure it to the transfer case just like in the video. Then everything else is done from the top

@@Smokey-88 I should have been more specific on that. It is an iron gen3 5.3 with the pistons and rods out of a l33.

@stroomperformance It's all good, makes me feel better about the swap I did, gen IV 6.0, 823 heads(LS3), If I bolted your turbo on it and injectors it would make well north of 1000 😁 Although I would have to pin the balancer. 😒 Many supporting mods, trunion upgrade one piece push rods, ARP ect, built it for 10 to 12 pounds witch should be over well over 800, but your set up is well over that, Didn't wanna open up the rotating assembly in gap the rings.😜 A bunch of other smaller mods that really helps also.. billet oil diverter barbell, oil pressure relief umbrella updated valve cover, ICT duel bolt oil pick-up bracket 😁

@ron8935 No, I am referring to a 98mm turbo on the car. This is a 2000 camaro.

So, I initially planned on putting it in the glove box area. But i just attached it to the passenger side panel down by where their feet go. I didn't plan on having passengers in the car, so I didn't feel a need to move it up. The car is now full racecar, and it is going to be mounted to where the HVAC core goes.

Given I didn't have good information starting out. This took me if I remember correctly around 8 hours. But knowing what I know now, I might be able to do it in 3ish hours as long as everything went well.

This was around 400 on 22psi. I went back a few months later on 26psi and made around 440-450whp. And when I was on 32 psi, I never made it to the dyno, but VD had the car around 500whp. 🤷‍♂️

Which motor Mount did you loosen to get the motor to hang?

I'm working on it and a video. I had some personal things come up. So I'm just getting back to it.

They are the stock SRT8 exhaust manifolds.

@@stroomperformance thank you! i’m thinking of putting a eagle head hemi into a 99 new edge stang. those headers look like a great fit. did you drill and tap the holes to mount manifold backwards? or do they all line up going forward and down? are you on insta?

@coalstang, you will have to drill them for the exhaust bolt holes. Unfortunately, it isn't like the LS where you can flip them. But it is only 4 holes you have to drill on each manifold if I remember right.

last run looked great. imagine what being at sea level would do.... it was tough to read what was the 60?

It made me laugh too. I didn't catch it until I went back and watched the video on that run.

@allthingsfast2375 right or even at 4500ft lolol. The best 60' was a 1.954. Still not even close to where it should be. And looking at the log, trying not to spike 15psi+, I took a bunch out on the duty cycle. Well, that made the car peak 14psi. But in the middle, it was 11. So, for the last second of the run, it made 14psi. The average over the run was low lolol.

I had about 1k more rpm to go before I had to shift out of second. But it was singing!
