I just finished mocking up a 5.7 in my 2200 lb. 71 vega! Also after the stock bottom end record. Going billet 88mm turbo and a power glide. The hemi is a really great platform you will like everything about it. Except the headers lol.
Hell yeah, that should definitely be a ripper! I'll be watching for you. I think it'll be a good platform. And I've been looking for some headers, I've come to the conclusion I'll just have to make some.
You can drill and tap the heads around the two center exhaust ports then flip a set of truck manifolds backwards. That's what I did on my first turbo hemi. Saves alot of time.
@@stroomperformance i have a tremec 6 speed behind a hemi in my 1998 mustang gt. I avoided the tr6060 and used a ford t56 magnum and modifed the bellhousing to use the ford cable clutch and fork. pretty easy to swap it in, only custom parts were motor mounts to mate it to the mod motor k member.
I love everything about this!
Fox Bodies flat out work. For a purpose built car, they're hard to beat!
They do work well. Hopefully I can get it setup decent
I'm voting for twin turbo 5.7 Hemi!

Do a 6 speed !
I'll have to look and see how much a tr6060 would be
