I came here in 83 with my wife from East London we were 29 and 24 at the time. I’m now 70 and it’s the best decision we ever made. Unfortunately we didn’t move from Brisbane to the Sunny Coast until 2012, wish we settled here first. Love Brizzy but the Sunshine Coast is special ❤️ I hope you make a wonderful life here if you decide to stay.

yay, this was one of my first suggestions for you to check out when first moved here. I'm glad you liked the walk, last time I did the full hike through there was when my now 29 year old daughter was in a little baby carrier bag thing so I could bring her with me for the walk! 😄

Good morning and well done. You won't regret coming to Oz. So much to learn, so much to do, so much fun. When money and time permits go for a snorkel or learn to scuba dive. The latter can be a little bit expensive ... but the ocean is a beautiful place. Just keep an eye out for toothies (sharks) and if seen just don't panic and swim away slowly and calmly. But the number 1 rule ... "Never dive alone" for your own safety. Oh ... and please learn to read the beaches for rips and how to deal with them. Too many tourists are lost not understanding them. The local Surf Life Saving Club should be glad to help or check it out online.

Please don’t remove shells from the beach, they are an important part of the ecology. In some areas there are fines for removing shells. Just admire them when you are at the beach.

I couldn't help noticing the bush turkey, over your left shoulder, in the first minute or so if your video. Did you notice it was there? In all of my decades living in Australia. i have never seen a bush turkey in a shopping centre. They make themselves at home anywhere; humans don't seem to bother them. I am glad your life is going well for you.

"Not a proper corporate job", you're going to have to get rid o that mentality now your here, any job that pays you money is a proper job, you're in QLD where a large percentage of the population doesn't work for big corporations, choosing to work for a small shop or being self employed does not make your job less, and as someone who worked both working for big corporations is not always better, get the right small company and you'll enjoy your job much more.

But Coles does have alcohol - I mean next to the supermarket. LIQUORLAND. Do they not have that in your Coles?

In Sydney Coles and Woolworths see alcohol but the liquor store is next to the supermarket . Aldi seeks it too .maybe Noosa is still way behind Sydney . Ask Woolies or Coles . Backpackers in Sydney tend to say that Supermarkets don’t sell alcohol . Maybe they don’t look properly or ask staff at the supermarket . So next time they should ask instead of them complaining about something that is so trivial .

Great to see that you passed 1k subscribers. I'm an old bloke that also lives on the "Sunny Coast". I moved here from NSW about 15 years ago. When I did, even as an Aussie I found some of the names of places weird and hard to pronounce which leads me to trying to help with the pronunciation of "Eumundi". It is pronounced as "You - mun-dee". Have a great day
