Why do you bend up the washer on the small sprocket after putting it on?

This makes it look so easy.... I've owned 2 DRZs so far and on both of them it was absolutely impossible to losen the nuts on the rear tire sprocket with anything other than a heavy wrench and absolute brute force. Hate that shit.

Pro-tip: use the brakes for the front sprocket, and on the nuts for the rear sprocket, loosen the nuts, not the bolts. It's a lot easier to strip the allen than the nut itself. Did anyone ever settle the debate on master links for the street?
