Outdoor Central Boiler Update. Central Boiler 21 year update. This thing is on its 21st year and it's still going strong. Things I like about this boiler are the lack of a draft fan and the simplicity to use it. When the wood stove calls for heat it just opens a damper. There are no moving parts except a taco pump and a light switch. Would I buy this Central boiler again? I most definitely woul...

Hickory Tree Challenge with a Stihl MS362
My wife at age 75 is about to have knee surgery very soon. Waiting on surgery schedule. 20.20.24
There's always something about a meal eaten in a cabin, a cottage, a camper, almost anywhere away from home, that makes it taste and feel so special, and usually so relaxing!!
@@timscartoys9321 Tim, I agree and like Jill said it always taste good if she doesn't have to cook it. Have a great weekend my friend.
Awesome carnivore meal Jerry. Looks delicious ‼️.
One of our favorite ways to eat. It sure was good. Have a great one brother.
Oh WOW Looks great and I bet ya it tastes even better. I can see the carnivore coming out in each of you. I guess you didn't record the fight over the last steak and salmon. Probably best you didn't. None of us wanted to see Jill beat the snot out of you. Best to preserve the image of the Alpha Male. You could join my support group if you need to. My wife and I have been married 47 years and I've learned my place, and it ain't at the front of the dinner line.😔
@@jims6308 first congrats at 47 years that's amazing. It turned out great. We actually commented on the lack of veggies here lol. I'll join your group. I need all the advice I can get. Have a great weekend Jim.
Hey Jerry and Mrs Jill . That was one great looking meal . Good eating 👍🏻🇺🇸🦌
@@inthebackyardwithdel438 thanks Del. We enjoy doing these date nights.
Great surf and turf
Great food for sure.
Making me hungry thanks
Sorry about that. Hopefully you find something as good today lol
I can smell that from here 😂 looks good
It was delicious. Thanks for the comment.
Merry Christmas
@jerrydeveau4738 thank you and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

We need to do this now often. Thanks Glen. You have a great weekend as well
Good times.

@@geezerindawoods I agree.
Hi I am a 39 year old female getting ready to undergo the first of two complete knee replacement surgeries and I was wondering if you had any tips on helping this go smoothly after discharge
@@cwhitefang2005 movement. I can't state it enough. They are going to give you exercises to do. Make sure you do them no matter how bad it feels. Ice and elevation is what I used for pain. Tylenol was strong enough for me. If you have access to cannabis for sleep. It did wonders for me. Between now and your surgery get into the best shape you can. Best of luck and stay positive. You've got this.
I just had knee replacement sept25 2024 . I did excersises three times a day plus weeks and weeks o f physical therapy I am 68 .It was very painful but the key is excersises and physical therapy I was back at work at seven weeks my knee feels like I am 30 again
@@eileenpiazza1604 oh man that's great to hear. I agree with everything you said. Great work. Keep up the great work.
My mind is blown how they are sending you home day 1! I've just been in hospital for 8 days here in the uk and I'm not a newbie to this surgery as I've already had both hips and left knee done. The pain was just beyond bearable, the levels in care is huge
@@WMW-82 that's incredible. Why so long? I've had both hips as well. Those were much easier than my knee. Yes the knee is painful but I was able to manage pain with movement, ice and elevation. My new knee is in great shape and I'm still working hard everyday making my legs and body stronger. Best of luck to you.
I like the ripper 37s blades, but im gonna try a stellite blade. Impressed with them by watching you use them. Nice boards
@@rodneyslone5797 the rippers are great blades. I still have a bunch of 10 degree and a couple 7. I'll still use them. I'm a fan of the stellite. I think they both have their place in my mill shed. Thanks Rodney. Have a great week.
Hey Jerry , nice milling . Can’t wait to see the fence . 👍🏻🇺🇸

Looks like it’s cutting great and a much better finish. Have you seen any utube videos on brazing broken blades ? Looking forward to spring here 😊
@@terryatpi brazing blades? Never heard of it. I've seen welded blades. Interesting. It did cut much better until it didn't and broke lol. Thanks Terry for watching and taking the time to comment.
@@BigelowWoodcraft. I grew up brazing. Check out a 3:25 minute video brazing bandsaw blade by Apurak ( the maker ). I see some guys use silver solder. Might be worth a try.
I also have an 027. Could you please give me information on the type blades your running and where I could order from. Love your videos, keep the coming!!!! Thanks Steve Johnson
@@stevejohnson1313 Steve these are Stellite bands sold by Norwood. I really enjoy the bands much better than anything else I was running. Happy Milling my friend.
@BigelowWoodcraft Thanks
Did tkr a month ago,ice and compression stocking helps with swelling .I am taking painkillers less and less, but the challenge is at night,i battle to find a comfortable position to sleep in.
@@masegom6617 you're right. It's hard to find any one spot. Glad you're making progress. Keep it up.
Thank you for this video I'm having a total TKR next month on the 14th i know everyone's pain level is different. Did you have a eperaduel.? That's what is making me nervous did it hurt?
Yes I did. I've had 4 over the span of my life. The epidural is not bad at all. You're pretty out of it when they administer it. I liked it because they didn't have to put you under that hard reducing the chances of an anesthesia hangover. My hip replacement I woke 3 times and remember it well. It only lasts a couple hours total. Best of luck and stay positive.
Thanks
@@Uniblab8 you're welcome
Look forward to the up grades Jerry . Love that boiler I wish now I hadn’t bought a gasifier because I produce enuf slabs to to heat the house . Them new boilers are picky about what ya feed em .
@@AllenFamilyFirewood my neighbor has the same boiler you have and had lots of problems with it unfortunately. It's really picky like you said about which type of wood and how dry it is. If this thing ever goes out I will replace it with the same style. Thank Phil and Karen. Have a great week.
I am glad I watched your video because I will have my knee replaced next month. After two weeks, you're walking distance and progressing very well. This gives me confidence that everything will go well.
Movement is key. It wasn't easy but you've got to keep moving. In the next couple of weeks workout more than you ever have. It'll help you mentally and physically. Best of luck to you and stay positive. You've got this.
I. Felt. Great. After. Ice. Is. Great❤
@@dawnperez2888 way to go and keep up the positive attitude. Merry Christmas.
Stay warm. Can’t wait to see what you are up to with the mill.
Thank Mark. I'm excited for what's to come. It's been cold but today is really warm. Have a great week.
Just subscribed. Video of all your modifications? Considering the OS27, 31, or 35. Can’t decide.
@@staziakviking3388 the os35 has a hydraulic package. Could things to consider between the 27 and 31. Without hydraulics a 27 is about as big a log as you'll want to do. With that being said I wish I would have gone with the os31. I have several logs in my log yard now that will max out my OS27. These are very capable mills but do take some learning. Best of luck and keep me informed on your decision. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with.
@@staziakviking3388 actually about 2 months ago there's a video that came out with all my modifications that I list off and demonstrate.
Won’t take long to warm up with that fire going
That thing works great.
I had TKR on my left knee in 2018 and had a great experience. I’m waiting on scheduling the right knee early 2025. Is the ice machine manual - no electricity required? I had one in 2018 but loaned it and it was not returned. If you could please post the name/model of that machine? Thanks
@@judyworthy1462 it wasn't my machine it was my brother in laws. The brand was CroyoCuff. It did have an electric pump. That's all the information I have on it. It's worth it and I will probably buy my own one my other knee becomes problematic. Best of luck.
Good job, Jerry!

@@terryatpi I kicked my toe into the jack stand that was on the back of the quad when I swing my leg over the four wheeler. I have a nice black and blue toenail now. The woodyard needed a major cleanup. Thanks Terry for watching and taking the time to comment you have a great weekend my friend.
@ !ouch!
Straight west across the pond from you it's been hovering around zero for the last couple of days!!! Definitely feels like Winter has arrived with a cold slap in the face! I'm hoping that you are considering a log turner for this winters project, because I really hate watching you my friend struggling with turning some of those larger logs and cants, and don't want to see you get hurt doing it!! Even a winch on a post with a hook would be safer than a cant hook or a peavy!
@@timscartoys9321 that would be a great build. I'm considering it. I'm not getting younger. Thanks Tim for keeping an eye on me. I push it sometimes. Have a great weekend buddy
@@BigelowWoodcraft Even a simple winch on a pole, slipped into a sleeve, with a hook, would help make it easier! Oh wait, those are the pieces I've accumulated for the same project?? LOL!!
@timscartoys9321 I used to have a winch on a pole for parbuckling and did try it for turning. It never worked well with the height I had the winch. It just pulled funny on the stake pocket.
Morning Jerry , the yard looks great . Can’t wait to see the mods on the mill . Stay warm my friend . 👍🏻🇺🇸🪵🔥
