Proud Family Moment Please Watch. Daniel came to us as a Ford exchange student in 2004. Afterwards he went back to Spain and completed his high school education there. After completion of his education in Spain he returned back to West Michigan and attended Grand valley State university where he gained the degree in mechanical engineering. He had several ups and downs with his visas over the time and eventually got his green card. 18 years later he is now a citizen of the United States of America. To say that our family is proud is an understatement.
