Thanks for suggesting), I used VirtualBox mostly because it is free & easy to use, but once I manage to improve my skills and my hacking complexity I fully intend on moving to VMware (that is the idea at the moment anyway) I'll share more about this in the future, if I still feel the same way by then Cheers

Assuming your goal is to become a all rounded hacker you might need to go deep on CTFs as well to gain some Forensics & Crypto knowledge (HTB also has some challenges like these) I hope this was helpful, let me know if you have further questions Cheers

In my opinion I'd say Python is the best one to start. It is simple, it is a scripting language, which makes it easy to use for hacking & automation, it has objects/classes built in, but it can also be functional (giving you freedom), but anything is good as long as you learn it. I decided to go with Python 3 for now hehe, later one Java, C++ or JavaScript, not sure yet Cheers

Hey @jeffsad8391 ☺ Thank you for your comment & great question! Well, that depends on what type of Ethical Hacker you want to be. For a Web/mobile focus one, you might not need a lot of hardware knowledge. But if you intend to become a generic or a hardware specific Ethical Hacker than yes, you do need to master hardware. I focused on these points, mainly because for now I'll focus more on the software/network component and in a few years I fully intend on venturing into hardware hacking. In summary, it depends on what you want, but an all round hacker must have hardware knowledge (in my opinion) 😀 Please, let me know if you have further questions/suggestions Cheers
