this actually makes me so sad. some days ago, my dad finally agreed to buy me my first ever VR headset. thing is, i was actually going for the Quest 2, but they were juust a bit off our budget, so i had to go with quest 1 i was a bit aware that the quest 1 wasnt that good, but i didnt know it was this far off...

Even just picking a decent 3D Printer there’s so many options! and like I’ve heard of drying boxes but never understood the benefits of them. Just bought a Quest 1 specifically for PCVR. I already have a different headset but just wanted a cheap wireless option for if I felt like using it.

Quest 2 lite you mean quest 3s

Not the most scientific test, but your results are in line with most scientific tests. PLA is the least impact resistant, while PETG is the most impact resistant, with PLA+ having similar properties of impact resistance to PETG. PETG is just known to be harder for beginners to print because most beginners have a finicky no-frills 3d printer and wont know how to troubleshoot. PETG is very simple in my opinion, but you must keep it dryer, and it comes in far less colors than PLA. I prefer PLA+ for most items, but items that will get dinged up or need to bear weight or tension, or be exposed to sunlight and outside conditions, i use PETG. PLA+ is the best all around though.
