I remember awhile ago EA got rid of Wing Commander 4 on my list...i didn't even think about DRM being the case of why my game was removed.. Crazy..

in all honesty I'll never understand the hype of gamma, vanilla stalker is plenty difficult already if you ask me. there's a fine line between being challenging and fun and being tedious and frustrating and gamma feels like it leans heavily towards the latter. by the end of my playthrough I was more just glad it was almost over.

You need to try A.R.E.A mod for stalker, one of the most hardcore mods i´ve played

imagine if in spore you could command your species to do things because space stage spore quickly becomes way too much for one ship and it feels like youre doing creature stage but youre also supposed to baby sit your entire species without getting to lead it not being able to lead my space empire in spore by any way is probably the thing thats the worst, sure tribal stage is stupid and all but the idea to control your species was right there! even gameplay wise it would make sense because the game was working by transitioning you to be a leader more and more each stage, at first its just you but then you can get friends the smarter you are, theres a middle point where you start leading a small group and then you expand into a civilization it would be logical for you to continue on the path of leadership and be able to command units or maybe even implement laws, instead the space stage became just another creature stage where you again get friends the more you advance through it, it completely breaks the gameplay proggression trend they set

6:01 maybe roblox and what the future sims is planned to be but yea this is probably the first high profile case of making an entire platform with sharable creations for a game

Spore 2 could be such a great game, i dont expect it to be several games in one. But they could improve the evolution of creaturea many ways they could also make the cell and creature stages better and more challanging and add a "fish" stage. Then the civ stage could be like a dulles down civ game one of the older and simpler ones and the space stage basically a really dulled down stellaris. I doubt they would do the right thing when it comes to DLC because its EA they have a bad tract record with abusing DLC but it is possible and would be quite awesome. Also id love to finally get that aquatic species...

I know something already, this game is going to be a timeless masterpiece no matter how it starts. just as cyberbug 2020 or the original series. Because there is passion behind it.

I used to love spore, still do actually though I rarely play it anymore. I have always felt they could do so much more, especially with the space age. A radical idea is to make it into a MMO type game by allowing people to join the same galaxy, star cluster or even planet if they are so inclined. I however, though spore died years ago so I stoped paying attention to it, Maybe it can get a comeback?

maybe it will have half the cut content from the first game.

Thanks for covering GoG - it has been my pick for the last decade. Steam is still there, but I try to get everything on GoG.

Honestly, ill be happy if Stalker 2 is less buggy than MechWarrior 5: clans at launch... I've had sound issues, both in game and during cutscenes where only part of the sound drops out. massive frame drops from 120 fps to like 10 fps well after the game had time to load and get past the shaders loading, weird flickering in menus, Jittery people in cutscenes.. you know the average list of issues for a UE5 game on launch.

I have incredibly high hopes, but VERY low expectations.

It adds the BR, Halo 3 magnum and energy sword, I’ve been playing this mod for a year, it recently got updated and pairing this with the beefier gun sounds mod from the nexus gives ODST a more tactical look adding just enough stuff to an already perfect game (IMO)

A fair concern to have, although bugs have never really bugged me (pun not intended). That is unless it is a crash or game breaking bug. The STALKER games have always had bugs, so I’m not expecting a bug free experience. But if there are game breaking bugs, or a lot of crashes. That would be pretty bad.

I hate the fact that in Anomaly artefacts are basically just a cash source and the only decent ones are way too rare to find, so it makes them just useless. They're hard to get and even use. One of my favorite things to do is hunt artefacts, so its a great thing I found this mod, gonna download it and play it today. Thanks for the recommendation man.
