hi rugged garage, i'd like to make an exhaust and do these mods to my starlet ep81 with the same engine, do you have any recomendations for exhaust size and if i should also make an exhaust manifold? thanks a lot!

I replaced my cylinder head with a brand new assembly (cylinder head including all the internals). I had the machine shop do the valve seating, valve lapping, and clearance. Once It was installed onto my block (newly overhauled btw), it started making a ticking sound that goes fast when I rev the engine. Tried to adjust the valve clearance several times ( intake 0.15mm, exhaust 0.20mm) but the ticking sound is still there and the adjustment changes again. Why is that? :(

i've a question with my 2e. it recently blew a head gasket where oil is mixing up with the coolant lines, but the head was recently just got overhauled and reinstalled with new seals and gaskets last aug 2023 and never revved higher than 7k rpm. any thoughts or advise? and where can i contact you?
