What they did with the Nancy's intro sounds a little bit out of the tune naturally, but at the mean time it seems that it really works by also effectively reminding you of where the tune is with this deliberate deviation.

Saw the Swans at the next show they had after this. Absolute ear rape for about 40 minutes and then Michael Gira started moaning into the microphone, I took that as my cue to leave it literally wasn't even music. Kristoff Hahn was pretty good but he only played for 20 minutes and then left the stage empty for over a half hour. Whatever drugs these guys take to make them think this set is worth performing I would like to try it.

This concert was life-changing; words can only barely describe it. The Beggar felt like an out-of-body experience and Away was so beautiful. Truly the greatest concert I have been in attendance of. Swans have permanently changed my outlook on music and for that I thank them!

First time seeing and listening to more than an hours worth of Swans music. Life changing. Truly. Almost drove to STL just for the hopes of getting a ticket and getting into the show, chasing the feeling this vibe gave me. I’m locked in now. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RECORDING THIS! If they had kept Daryl and Chester onboard they might have pulled it off, but this line-up was never going to work long-term. Nir is a very good drummer but he struggles with the Genesis stuff. He makes a dreadful cock-up in No Son Of Mine, and there are other examples of that in other videos from this tour. There is a version of Alien Afternoon where he messes it up in a major way too. It must have been painful for Mike and Tony to not have musicians in whom they could have confidence. Chester and Daryl almost never made mistakes, in all the years of touring. This is not really Genesis. If they had chosen a different name it might have been better received. CAS was a pretty good album and contains some decent compositions, but the live shows were weird, inconsistent and ultimately unsatisfactory. Well done to Ray for giving it his best and attempting the impossible, but, as he has said in interviews, it may have not been the right decision.
