I'm currently in the process of saving up some money to rebuild the 351C to shoehorn into this one, I know the 351w in one of these cars is scary, hell even the 302 HO with the double pumper i've got on it was enough to make it kind of concerning (roughly 230hp), so i can only imagine how much a 351C with about 300-330hp or more might do depending on if i can get the rebuild i'd like done to it. One of the highest selling vehicles for ford, and everyone ripped around with them until they destroyed them or blew them up.

In western canada, where the rules were lax and dealers actually offerred factory options that you couldnt find anywhere else, not all dealerships obviously, but some, you could drive the car new "unmodified" off the lot with over 180hp due to the lack egr/smog pump/etc, and even have the engine pretuned to avoid the somewhat lagging timing normally stock on them. Some of them offerred 4 barrel changeovers by the dealership the VINs were stamped one way to get by inspection so to speak but one the hood was popped, there would be a surprise for those that didnt know. This one was raced stock at a close international raceway and often surprised the crowds and mustang II haters, even to go as far as claiming it was superstock or in the wrong racing class. A shelf full of trophies and ribbons collected. The good though was that for as lackluster man of them were sold as, it cost nothing at the time to swap in new parts for big power boosts.

Weight, yeah thats definitely the killer. Once the fans settle down, its tolerable, but damn, even with no hdds installed its pure torture trying to move it.

Today's cars may have some speed. But, that's it. For the most part, they're ugly as F. They ride like crap and the sensation of being pulled (front drive) vs pushed is not even close. I drive an old Lincoln town car. V rear drive. Real bumpers and power everything. I'd hate to be in one of those disposable douche cars that gets involved in an accident with my car. It will crush the little economy car and whoever is in it.

The last 35 years of Automotive Melted jelly bean/stealth fighter styling have certainly improved its Pinto-esque heritage. Love the White and green.

Ah, that myth again. It's amazing how a story gets told, and it just gets perpetuated indefinitely. Did you know that the number of rear enders on these cars didn't result in fires? Do you believe it's a near guarantee that it would happen everytime? You have any idea what was statistically discovered in that court case? First off any of the 76 and newer had a redesign anyways just to satisfy the publics unnecessary concerns, retrofits were probided for older models. Secondly there were significantly more vehicle fires in other brends and models that managed to not get nearly as much coverage. Even in the 70s things were sensationalized. Pretty much any vehicle with a rear mounted fuel tank was at risk, and since that was so common, it was shown that you hit any one of them just right and presto, fireball, with doors jammed shut. "But the M2 didnt need to be hit that hard", still need a solid perfect hit, not to mention literally any of vehicle with the same tank positions. Also in the grand schemes of safety, even 90s vegicles have next to nothing in advantages in the safety realms over the 60s and 70s, we didnt see nearly indestructible cages with all round air bags until later in 2000s, and frankly modern vehicles are grossly disapointing imo.

Their is a whole thing. About square bodies exploding when T-boned. The fuel tank is out side the frame. It was all over the news. But nobody cared. Rad II love the color combination!

​@SpectrumTwist I'd take this Mustang over any newer car, and I drive a newer car everyday. The technology gets annoying and wears out and good luck fixing any of it when the cars are old

Polished rims on this one just didn't look right (briefly had them while testing offsets). Everyone agreed it didn't look right. However, another cobra II had a lot of polished chrome around where the black paint typically would be, and chrome side loovers and rear. That car definitely looked great with the polished rims. Frankly, it had to have polished rims, anything else would look out of place.

​@@SpectrumTwist so are these factory 'white' rims or have they been painted/powder coated ? They do suit the car for sure. Sweet car.

@skxj as seen in on the front, those are factory rims with the exception that originally they had a red pin stripe around the edge instead of the green. Ive the other 2 originals sitting in storage since trying to find tires that are any decent size anymore is near impossible. Without paying for an insanely costly cnc duplication of the factory rims sized to 15 inch, i instead opted for the closest match of a custom set available for production already. Perhaps if i ever get enough cash, ill get the proper ones better natched to factory made. But yes the factory ones were indeed white with those hubcaps.

@@SpectrumTwist right, those cars had (13" ?) 14" rims with either a BBS weave looking wheel or the slot mags. Tire selection today must be brutal for those small rims. Well it looks good with those rims but ya it'd be nice to have some custom rims made up for it one day. Cool ride.

@skxj far as i could find, they all were 13", none of them had an option for 14". I considered putting 14s on the front since there are at least a few tires out there for 14s still, but even 13s with the tires on it already rub making some turns. And if i get tge 351C slid in, theres a chance i may have to do subtle mods to the fenders to make the exhaust fit. But i hope to avoid too much modification of original body. Pretty much all of the cobra II had the 2 style of rims you mentioned, i think however that the 78 had a 3rd option as a custom option with a bumped price for a 5.5" wide white rim as seen on the front. Might have been available in 77, i just know they appear to be rare even for the sales numbers, not man opted for the special white rim.

Except this one came stock with nearly 200 since theres a bit of a weird situation in which the california laws were ignored and the 302 wasnt gimped from factory for some of the mid western canada dealerships. Wasnt uncommon for even some dealerships to offer a 2 barrel to 4 barrel intake and carb swap before even signing the papers. Not to mention many spent an additional couple hundred to pop it well above 250hp since the engine was good for it.

It certainly did, though if i recall the sales stats, it was sold a bit more often than the white with yellow striped versions. What people insist about this car though is the front rims "didnt come with that car!", this car came from factory with 4 identical rims that looked like that except for the fact that for some reason, they had a red pin stripe instead of the green that is currently on it. I had also planned to replace the red reflector lens in the center of the cap that it came stock with, with green ones but good bloody luck finding any green ones, let alone any that would fit, thus they remain. Also we do have the original what was it, 29:1 ratio scale model of this car in the same stripe and colour package.

I don't expect a game studio to be able to account for everything, but less you forget, Larian studios has stated that so far there is content, quite a lot of content, in which so far no one appears to have discovered yet. Dialogue and interactions and even story level events no one has seen because people haven't attempted it, things such as what i attempted. Sadly the outcome was a little disappointing as at the very least i would have expected yurgir to instantly begin attacking someone that very clearly looked like a justiciar. But sadly they ignored them. Even if you throw him up on the platform before entering the area that would cause the cutscene, nothing happens. So by definition there is some level of oversight in the outcome. I should point out if you complete the dialogue which initiates the fight fully with him, you can still haul his ass to yurgir and like i stated in the description, have an all out fight with him, even potentially doing harm to yurgir's fellow compatriots, which only causes a temporary hostility before they ignore him and we continue to fight. I've been toying around with many different ways of doing things, including sneaking in and grabbing the last mouse and running up to yurgir with the mouse before he transforms.

@@frankpizza1596No, it's 8K Super Ultrawide by definition. 4K is 3840x2160, ultrawide is 3840x1600 for 21:9 and 3840x1080 for Super Ultrawide. This has long since been set in stone ages ago.
