Abusing Brakkal just to get him to finish thanking me - Baldur's Gate 3

Apparently if you cast silence in a zone in which npcs are to have dialogue with you, it put a stop to that, so the only way to sort that out is to get into the habbit of tossing them outside the silenced zone apparently.
