How to Cut Door and Window Openings on Shipping Containers
You have good knowledge here. I am thinking of getting this Harbor Freight air dryer for my air cooled pulse laser cleaning machine I've just bought. It moves 21cfm; I'm not sure how that will really flow at 100psi. Do you think I need to instal the extra filters on top of the machine? Many thanks!
@@jazzkunst a lot of the extra filters are to remove oil and dust and things like that. If your air compressor uses oil, you usually get some oil mixed in with the air so an oil separator is ideal but if you have an air compressor that doesn’t use oil, it may not be necessary.
Happy new year☺️🫶🏻 we need more videos, hope you are well Darren

Does it burn 6010 well?
Not really they have a different stick Welder that is advertised run 6010 and it seemed to work quite well when I tried it not as good as some machines but I was trying their smallest 120 V machine that’s like $60 and it did run E6010 just not extremely well

Great review. Thanks to your video I'm going to be adding one to my garage.
Cool review
Did I miss the model number?
The first one I bought had a defective tabletop..... The table top had been grinded and or sanded on different spots throughout the table get rid scratches that I could still see..... Exchanged it for another one and the 2nd table the long legs where the feet go screwed into we're not Square due to welding distortion which cause the table to wobble..... Exchanged it for a 3rd table and all four short legs were and defected due to welding distortion and one of the long legs was also defected due to welding Distortion and the tabletop was defected from where it had grinding and or sanding spots to take out deep scratches that the table top had..... Took the 3rd table back and got my money back..... I'm a welder fabricator and to me in my opinion these tables are junk...... I guess Harbor Freight likes selling defective tools when their commercial says that they sell quality tools...
@@ea.4997 my that sounds like quite an adventure. I’m glad I didn’t notice all of those issues on the one I purchased this one I believe is also more made for someone that just want something to keep them off the floor and that still has a little more functionality if you want a quality welding table either you often have to spend thousands of dollars or build yourself and still spend quite a bit
@@CreativityUnleashedWith all due respect.... I'm a welder fabricator by trade..... I make sure that the tools of my trade are correct or else everything that I weld and fabricate will be just as defective as my tools and I cannot have that because I guarantee my work to my customers.... You being satisfied and others being satisfied with that table..... In my opinion tells me that you lean more towards a hobbyist welder and a youtuber and not a welder fabricator......
Very instructional video for a late in life beginning welder like me. Precise and clear commentary coupled with the complete absence of any distracting music during the main presentation makes the information easily digestible. Thanks for posting this up.
too bad they left out spot weld function.
What grade of polystyrene are you using for the load bearing walls?

Great video Thank you for sharing. Is there an amount of feet of Hose that I need from the compressor before the air filtration system?
Nice review. What was the circuit breaker size required to provide electric power to your hybrid heat pump water heater?
@@brucehutcheson5371 it’s a 30 amp 240 V because it can operate as a normal electric hot water heater as well
Your video was well thought out and well explained/executed. I just started trying to spray with an hvlp sprayer and have had a months worth of troubleshooting. My last mini in-line filter was choking my system brand new out of the box so it took me awhile to realize what was wrong. So I removed it and it solved my pressure problem but now I have awful craters that appear (maybe fisheyes) in my paint film. So I assume it’s because of not running a filter. So I bought harbor freight’s newer version by Merlin and of course the inlet and outlet are much larger than any 3/8 hose fitting which I don’t understand because this is a 3/8 filter combo. I suppose I have to go and pick out some reducer connectors or something in the morning. Has anyone else experienced this? Just seems really weird to me. Anyway I was just digging around for some information and came across your video and although it didn’t answer what I was searching for, it was a great informative explanation and demonstration of the benefits of a filter setup.
Great explanation

Is the only water filter the desiccant or do the other traps also get the majority of the water out before the desiccant trap sees it. I have a 60gallon air compressor and it produces a lot of condensate. It would fill those traps pretty quick. I can drain the tank and still get visible water vapor coming out of the hose.
@@perry9492 of course the refrigerant air dryer is the best option and that’s what I use now. Specially if you use a lot of air, but yes, there is the first water, moisture separator and that removes the majority, but it doesn’t do it. Well if the air is really hot. and the desiccant is only to get rid of the last little bit of moisture.
Since the blade is 14" can this type of saw cut a 12" x 12" x 1/4 sheet of steel in half?
@@kennethmeese I don’t think so. You would probably be better to use an angle Or plasma cutter
😅😅😅cool .but as a carpenter master i must say you need only a nail gun. 75mm nails and boards 1"x5".
You covered everything in your garage but your car! 😂
Is it a smaller than 14 inch blade on the saw with an aluminum cutting blade?
Hybrid water heaters SUCK! Period. I have one as a test model in my own home and am a licensed professional at the highest levels with 25 years of experience. There is little difference between brands with build quality. The heat pumps run nearly constantly in hybrid or especially efficiency mode, they burn out, coils ice over and are just generally buggy (don't heat the tank all the way through. I have an 80 gallon in a basement that is always, year-round between 55 and 65 degrees. Well within the operational temps stated by the manufacturer. In efficiency mode it takes 24 hours to heat through from cold, in hybrid mode it takes 12 and straight electric mode electric takes 5-6 hours. I get calls and complaints from owners all the time and there is literally nothing I can do because there is no error code and nor real serviceable parts in the compressor unless you're an AC/R tech, which pretty much no plumber is. So, the manufacturer will give you a new water heater after a good fight, but you will be on the hook for its installation. Gas operated on demand systems are just as efficient if not more so and can actually be fixed if they break and produce endless hot water at 5-6 GPM. Hybrid water heaters are expensive JUNK pushed by the green douche's simply because its electric and that way they can have a single fuel "pipeline" that can at some point, be controlled/regulated and it's not the bad...bad fossil fuel. If you have ANY OTHER OPTION, do that because otherwise I promise well before the factory warrantee is up, you will be getting the dreaded error code for a failed compressor. Yes, some people have no problems and if that's you great, save your breath because you are the minority I have installed literally a few thousand of these now over a decade or more, all brands all sizes and I am here to tell you that 2-3 of every 10 we install fail in the first 3 years. So, 20% to 30% failure rate from the factory. Why am I so mad? Because customers associate these failures with my work, even if they picked the water heater, it must be something we did wrong with the installation, or we must have damaged it when bringing it in. Ect. I have some customers on their 3rd hybrid water heater in 4 years and they appreciate me coming out to help about as much as one appreciates his dentist during a root canal. This is just another example of the green new government working with, schilling for, the manufacture and release to the public of an inferior product in the name of efficiency, that is actually less efficient and cost more to own than most on demand gas water heaters. Oh, but you're saving the planet with electricity from a coal, or co-generated power plant, or solar where large swaths of land were clear cut for panels. Its BS and the consumer is lead down the primrose path by the promise of efficiency and "savings". Don't believe it.... you're getting screwed. And yeah....I tell all customers this stuff up front now, so they can't blame me when 3 years later their paying me to do a warranty swap and wrangle the manufacturer to honor their warrantee.

Why not dry the air before it goes into the tank?
@@sloppydoggy9257 the air coming out of the compressor head is extremely hot. The surface area of the tank helps cool it. Quite a lot so it’s more efficient at removing moisture. Depending the volume of air, you’re consuming would probably determine if you could go straight into the refrigerant air dryer the tank would last longer if it had dry air in it
I use makita 14 " Cut off. But all my pipe are not cutting straight. Can you tell why?
4", 6" And even 1" Pipe are not cut straight
@@KingKong-jg6pd are you trying to cut 90° angles or are you trying to cut more like a 45? I have never really had trouble cutting 90s with an abrasive saw but cutting 45s can be very tricky to get them to cut straight without making a bevel. Some people say a higher quality blade helps. I haven’t found one that completely gets rid of the issue though that’s one of the reason that people use metal cutting band saws or the more expensive lower RPM carbide saws.
Quality abrasive blades are worth it. Much higher production and minimal burr. Here in Australia I use PFERD 350mm x 2.8mm x 25.4mm for up to 5mm thick sections and get a lot of life from a blade. Cut pressure and surface velocity matter a lot. The blade needs high surface velocity to work. If the rpms drop, pause for a tiny moment and it makes a huge difference. A worn down blade also has less surface velocity and can compromise cut speed and quality.
@@cleanmachine08 yes definitely a quality blade makes a huge difference but price isn’t the only indicator of quality. And having a cap saw where you could speed it up as the blade wears down would be helpful, but I don’t know of any
You really helped me out, thanks
