It's hilarious that this has become an "aesthetic" for modern teens, as someone who was both a teenager in 2006 and grew up in Washington State. The idea of my normal clothes, the comfy stuff I put on to keep the weather off, being a purposeful stylistic choice 18 years later is bizarre.

I had a vasectomy at 25. I'm 38 now and I have never for even one second regretted my decision. Because I don't have kids, I've had the money to help family when they were in need, travel the world, and save heavily for retirement. By 45 I'll be able to retire out right. I was also able to marry the girl of my dreams and have been married to the same woman for the last 10 years. Children are necessary for our society to function and for human life to continue, but they are not for everyone. As long as the world averages 2 kids per family we will be alright.

4:22 In da club is not the reason clubs were jumping back in the day. That song came out when clubs were exactly at point where it was starting the decline. Rap music is NOT dance music as much as the younger generation think it is. Its not at all. Yes In da Club had a beat but its not at all a dance song. Just play it and tell me you wanna dance. The only rap song from my era where clubs were happening is House of Pain's jump around. I remember when my black friends would say their clubs were the best and do this standing in place and bobbing the head move and saying white people dont dance like this. Every black club I went to was horrible and I walked out rather quickly. Again play in da club and tell me that makes you wanna dance.

Spiral dynamics is a really interesting concept that i'd never heard of before. A few things occur to me about it. The lower levels of hierarchy seem to be an attempt to frame indigenous peoples as less ethically developed, but if you actually look at these cultures they have all of these levels expressed in some form and indeed i think all cultures do. The higher you are on the spiral the better it is for everyone but if it comes down to a competition between two different levels the lower level always wins out. This is why conservatives are always trying to drag us down towards tradition, tribalism and violence. They seem like safer options to them but their cynicism destroys the delicate social arrangement that allows higher states on mind to exist at all. For a higher states to be achieved everyone has to embrace it, else it would be spoiled by people with a lower level mindset. One way to do this would be to create institutions that reward a higher state of mind, but then you would run into the problem of people pretending to exhibit the correct behavior only to gain the advantages provided by said institutions. In the end i think the only way to raise people up is to educate the young and hope it sticks.

*Civilization's Basic Problem:* ~1% of all humans are naturally born intelligent psychopaths. These individuals tend to congregate wherever power can be wielded. This is well studied and uncontroversial. In tribal society of up to ~300 individuals, everybody knew each other intimately. We hunted, gathered, ate and danced together, every day, our entire life. The few intelligent psychopaths in the tribe didn't become chieftains. Everyone viewed them as great assets in war and for hunting, but not for justice and collaboration. A stable balance had evolved, benefiting everyone. However, in today's large civilizations, we don't know each other intimately anymore. Most people are easily fooled by the charmes and facades intelligent psychopaths put forward, to get their way. Many also admire their tenacity and risk-tolerance, in pursuit of climbing the socioeconomic ladder. This broken balance have an obvious conclusion: Intelligent psychopaths in power, with no endpoint in sight, for their hoarding of wealth and power. Once at the top, sadism begins to show, and the noose can only tighten. I guess by now, more people are becoming aware of the noose, but nobody seem to diagnose the problem correctly.

It's almost funny how the average person is so brainwashed by their upbringing, society, and the government. The elites have us literally living in a prison where we are the guards and inmates believing that we have freedom working for money that doesn't even matter. It's crazy. We are born into the world and brainwashed for at least 18 years by the school system where our personality is tuned and our beliefs about the world and how things work are instilled into our minds. None of this is real, the things you desire aren't real. The history is fake, written by the victors, altered to make you act a certain way. You are a robot slave. Programmed to do as told. Engineered from birth. Memories and feelings implanted so that you can be manipulated in the future. Why do you want to be the best at a meaningless sport or employee of the month? Maybe because when you were 8 years old you were envious of the kid who got a gold star for "behaving the best" in class, and you wanted to be the best at something. It's subconscious. Everything is fake. The studies, the news, the promise of a good life. Only the word "slavery" was abolished. There are more slaves than ever now. The banks have been manipulating the media since 2008 to keep us distracted from their over leveraged positions. It's over. The system is rigged. Your only option is to play. Risk everything, even though you have been brainwashed not to. It's your only way out. Think about this, every transaction you make with a credit card, at least 1.5% goes back to the bank. After 100 transactions worth of fees, the banks have the money. It's all a joke, commodities, stocks, land, gold, it's all priced in, the banks have computers executing trades every picosecond, you will never have an edge, they will sandwich attack your trade. you will forever be bound to your social class or fall lower in this terrible game. Black Rock's Aladdin super computer already knows everything. You will be killed off, once the robots come. There will be no longer a purpose to have inefficient human slaves. It will be gradual. You wont notice the water boiling, one day your bloodline will cease to exist when they deem its time. Best of luck to you whoever is reading this. Enjoy going to college for a meaningless degree to compete for a job your overqualified for that will be automated in the next 10-15 years. Sorry all the jobs were outsourced. It's called "economies of scale", "labor arbitrage", "globalization", its good, its most efficient to LITERALLY enslave people half way across the world. "Slavery was abolished", but its okay to enslave people as long as you cant see it, okay sure... There is no way out of this system. Compete for the highest paying slave job so you can afford to eat some real organic pasture raised red meat in the future and be fertile enough to have kids. Otherwise, enjoy a childless life of misery. These options are ass, but what else can you do? Hopefully ubi will save us.

Beautiful video! I have been thinking a lot recently about what I want to do with my life. I am a sophomore in college and I already feel like I am wasting a way my life, like I shouldn't be here doing this. I think part of me wants to stick it out and hope for the best, and the other part of me knows that isn't the case. But I can't just leave. Not yet. My parents have paid for some of my college and I don't want to disappoint them. Also how could I possibly afford to live if I don't get a degree? I recently attempted to quit social media and try to buy myself more "me" time where I am alone in my thoughts, which led me here, a place of uncertainty and dread of the rest of my life, though I wouldn't call it depression. My ultimate goal in life atm is to have a wife and family, and naturally doing whatever it takes to accomplish that goal. But what if *that* doesn't lead me to true happiness? The other main goal I have is to own a vinyl/record store, which I think would be better than working in a deadend cubicle job, but what if I have to spend 10-20 years working the aforementioned dreaded job? Is it even worth it? I have so many questions that I feel that I cannot answer on my own, yet if I ask people them I sound insane. Sorry for the 3am ramble.

Being happy alone is all fine and well, but for myself at least some of the pressure to make money comes from wanting to support a family one day and meet the expectations of some theoretical spouse as a provider. The quarter life crisis hits differently when you realize all your close friends are starting to spend more time with their partners than you, you have been responsible for taking care of yourself alone every time you're sick for years, and your parents never really had close friends or relationships besides each other. Doesn't help that our culture still defines men by what they can provide materially.

Ive been trying to tell people that the far left and the far right agree that the whole machine is broken, and that they agree on exactly how its broken, for a few years now. Im on the right wing side of that, but when i listen to left wingers talk about their base problems with the economic and social reality we’re living in, i cant help but want to form a club or something with them and see if we cant change anything at all. What i cant stand are all the center right/center left normies who are sitting there saying “this is fine” pretending they arent suicidal in one way or another, that they don’t hate their job, that they dont hate their spouse, or that they dont hate the fact that every entity in their life uses them like a tool and then throws them away unceremoniously. Why not call out of work just cus you feel like it? Why shouldn’t you be some sex pest living off the state? Why shouldnt you act on each of your disgusting base instincts like a wild animal? All of the real reasons not to do those things have been stolen from us, and the normies either pretend that this state of affairs is “liberation from oppressive societal standards” or that the reasons for not doing those things somehow exist outside of the imaginary contract we keep with our fellow humans. Sure i believe the reasons not to do those things come from God, but a society can only function if it plans for non-believers, and thats not to mention the fact that Gods rules dont only apply to us, but also to the fucks that broke that imaginary contract to begin with. My mom is fucked, who caused that? Was it her parents who pretended morals weren’t worth teaching cus sunday mass should be enough? Maybe it was the society that told her her beliefs were oppressive and evil? Maybe its the people who seduced her with money and attention, making her do things that would have her ancestors rolling in their graves. Maybe it was the doctors who prescribed her xannax and raised the dosage just because she asked. Or maybe it was the base philosophy thats been fed to us bit by bit for the last 300 years, designed to enrich the elite and subjugate the underclass, which manipulated all of those people to ruin my mother. This isnt a tirade against “them”, this just me saying: yeah the video is right lets not participate in this shit anymore, because their system is malicious and we will always be in the outgroup. Why play a game you cant win when your life and happiness is on the line? Crazy shit

An interesting thing that was pointed out to me was to look at the Wikipedia list of dystopian literature. The genre explodes in popularity in the early 1900s, with releases peaking around the 80s-90s. I believe Trump (and broadly the current political landscape) is a symptom of a larger cultural feeling - that is to say, a Trump figure was inevitable. This Wikipedia listing shows the number of novels released drop rapidly in the early 2000s, and it had essentially come to a crawl in 2015, with only a small handful of books releasing from 2015-2020. ONE single novel in this category has been released after 2020. The same can also be said for movies, which have also completely changed course. The world spent so much time thinking and worrying about what a dystopian world would look like, and it’s clear the nation feels that we are now in one. Movies don’t need to be made anymore, and no books can be written that don’t in many ways already resemble the current world. This is why Trump and the subsequent political waves are a symptom. This trend started before him- he is essentially a subconscious attempt at pulling ourselves back from the perceived edge of the cliff, whether you agree with him or not. If we have successfully “pulled back” is debatable (I personally believe it has only been slightly delayed), and with looming massive economic collapse looking imminent, this feeling is even more justified.

Mass immigration was chosen as policy position for a number of reasons, but two of them were to artificially inflate housing and real-estate priced/rent and to devalue wages and labour.

I don't know how old you are, but I'm a 44-year-old man and I agree with much of what you are saying. What we are now witnessing is the break up of the last remains of the world the Baby Boomers built after the Second World War and we collectively don't know how to deal with that. I would argue that Trump is the last gasp of a generation that believes a mostly white rural population should lead the country. Even if he wins the demographic reality is that the MAGA crowd will not last for another twenty years. That scares a lot of people and that is why the Right is so angry right now.

trump is from New York City. white rural populations have never run the country. it blows my mind that you think the people of Appalachia have a say, or run, anything, or ever did. White rural people have been fucked over just as bad as anyone else by the government, which has never been made up of rural white. It's always, always, always been coastal elites, and Joe "I don't want my kids to grow up in a racial jungle"Biden isn't exactly the epitome of progressiveness. he bragged about how many black people he locked up.

The boomers didn't build anything. The "Greatest Generation" (born 1901-1927) and the "Silent Generation" (born 1928-1945) did build that world, growth and wealth. The boomers just took everything and will leave nothing. They leave climate, wealth and health destroyed for Gen X, Millenials, Z and the new Alphas.

Good video, and I believe you are on the right path. I would highly recommend reading "Thus Spoke Zarathustra." It has very similar themes and is a heady critique of modernism. Even though its poetically dense its well worth it as the power of such writing is intensely influential on most present day anti modern thought.
