The first time I did this I did it like you and tore off pieces as I went along. Nobody knew that until my brother thinking he was soooooo smart tried to roll it down the hallway like a bowling ball on his first turn. Instead it plopped to his feet. That's one of my favorite memories still today. I am watching for some fresh prize ideas for my Christmas in July party. I like to plan way ahead. We do it the opposite of you guys- my husband is the placer/wrapper and I keep the wrap under control. I would not want to attempt to do it alone. It's more fun with him too. I am going to start buying non perishables soon. A little at a time makes buying the stuff easier.
