Some of those spots take so much commitment and work to keep the tail from dragging and you make it look like butter with the remote!

Hey man, I’m starting to record some videos of myself riding and was wondering what setup you use to get your camera angles? I have a go pro which I think is what you use, but I have a hard time getting the camera back far enough to see everything, even on the widest lense setting. Thanks for any tips!

Thanks for you wisdom. I am interested in VESCing my XR but I have no interest in tuning. I just want more range and hill climbing power for my XR. I am looking forward to more vids from you on the 84V. Its sunny and dry here in Calgary.

Agreed on ATR settings, mellow ATR is the move for fast flowy trails with lots of transitions. Keeps it from feeling like it's fighting you at times and encourages using your momentum more, XR style 👌

If you have an old xr you should vesc it.

im a real hard trail rider and recently got to ride a growler. i fell in love with it and i now found a guy ready to sell me the rails and tire for 500$can. but i have seen a lot of people saying the growler is not good for heavy trail... now i dont know what to do.

I have an old XR with a bad BMS. Sounds like this will get that board going again. I’ll have to look into the cost of it all before I decide, tho. Can I use my original, OEM electronics enclosure instead of buying a 3D printed one?

May I ask what Model you use? I use the first model of Gopro that came out and I am a bit pissed of the low resolution more and more. I dont want to buy the most fancy one and since I need it for simmilar vids like yours I might get the same model. Or can you sugest an other one to go with for what you do?

Rewatching your vids is a garanty for motivation to go out even if I am tired af. Gonna grab my trusty Gopro1, OTG-charger, a book and a cooffe, climb a hill, reload ontop while reading a book and then find a trail I do not know. I dont get why you dont use a external battery to recharge before going back down. The board behaves so much better when fully charged. My Pack weights only 2Kg, has a full recharge and fits nicely in my backpack.

Haha, I feel you. I like to explore in the Austrian mountains and sometimes I end up on some hikingtrails that were nowhere ment to be ridden on any vehicle whatsoever, or just end, and the Onewheeltire is a bit small too. I met Boars and once a huge Elk alone in the woods but, freakin hell, I would never go out for a ride alone when there is literally fukkin Bears and Wolfs. HUGE RESPECT good Sir, keep on riding and, for fkk sake, dont feed your ass to a freakin bear.
