    I always try and leave myself around 40-50% battery for the downhill, incase I run into a some uphill stretches.. plus the board has nosedived at low percentage a couple times which has made me a little gun shy when it comes to really running my battery down. Still, this looks like a lot of fun, the onewheel is so awesome as a motivator to explore. Float on!

      Exploring is the most fun I have. It's Countless the amount of times I have just got back to my car at 1%.

    Rewatching your vids is a garanty for motivation to go out even if I am tired af.
    Gonna grab my trusty Gopro1, OTG-charger, a book and a cooffe, climb a hill, reload ontop while reading a book and then find a trail I do not know.
    I dont get why you dont use a external battery to recharge before going back down. The board behaves so much better when fully charged. My Pack weights only 2Kg, has a full recharge and fits nicely in my backpack.

      Getting great comments like this motivates me to do the same. I don’t bring any external batteries because I don’t like the extra weight of a backpack. The only things I carry is a few tools and my camera to keep it light. I have a CBXR and that gives me enough range and preforms we’ll even at low battery.

      @@westcoast.landpirate3788 I was thinking about getting a CBXR before, but I have a new model that does not work with the CBXR without JWST-chip and it is too much of a risk bricking my board since its my only transport at the moment. When my original battery dies, I think I get one. Also it is way more expensive then my charger-setup. I am a 55Kg person, so I like to keep my board as light as possible since most of the times I dont need that extra range. I am also used to having my Backpack on me from my skiing-years which are mainly over because I am old and my knees are sore af.
      Thanks to my OW I can still go out and shred a bit. 👍💪🤘

    hey bro, how much actual regen to the boards get going down hill. Your the only person I see killing a battery going up for 45min and then ride that amount of time of a full charge. How much does it actually charge. I have been curious about that

    • @westcoast.landpirate3788
      @westcoast.landpirate3788  2 года назад

      As long as you are just going down hill it’s pretty good you will not use any and if it’s real steep you can gain it all back

  • @freejack6889
    @freejack6889 2 года назад +1

    So, was your board recharging on the way down the trail? It seems like it should have been and your battery should have been somewhat revamped?

    • @westcoast.landpirate3788
      @westcoast.landpirate3788  2 года назад

      A little bit for sure. I used 80% to get up the mountain and only 15 to get back down.
