Congratulations on finishing Llanfair PG that’s a real achievement and you always said you were stitching it to hang in your Anglesey home. I’m so chuffed for you. It looks amazing. I’m doing a project at the moment that has a lot of back stitch. I’m now wondering if I should do it as I go. I hate back stitch. Really impressed with how much you did get done in January. I hope February continues the same ❤

Fabulous finish Elaine, thats been a favourite of mine, i shall miss it. And a smaller finish! Two in January can't be bad😃. I'm glad you mentioned white Silky as i've just started a replacement for the stitch i'm doing for my son(having stitched around 65,000 last year) and theres a few white stitches in it, so chuffed. Crickey that was a shorter video Elaine, do you think it was the fact you didn't have any stash 🤪😂. WOW that sampler is wonderful! Have a time at the retreat and chill. Take care 🤗

Congratulations on finishing your Long Dog. Backstitching is a misery for me. We used to do soooo much of it back in the 80’s. I finished my winter and have it displayed! So pleased even if I cut the fabric too small for the frame I planted to use. Not too bright. But, used another I had and added some ribbon and fabric to have it fit nicely. Now I am going to do spring. Found a lovely pale yellow fabric so very excited to do it, mostly monogamously ( is that a word?) Happy February stitching.

Love to hear something about your life as well as your stitching. We here in Ohio, USA, are prone to storms coming through where we lose power. We have a generator so we don’t lose food. It also lets the lights stay on for stitching! Glad things were not worse for you and your turkey did get roasted.😊 your Long dog is a beauty. Happy 2025!

Fancey Blackett reminds me of a book by Mark Stay: The Crow Folk, the first of the Witches of Woodville series, in which a demon disguises himself as a scarecrow with a pumpkin head! I don't usually read fantasy fiction, but this was really good!

Great WIP parade, Elaine! Do you have 29 WIPs with or without Magik Forest? I'm sad that you're going to UFO it. I'm only at about 30-something percent on it atm. I started a Blue Dragon last January 1st and wanted it done by December 31st so I didn't get to work on much else from August on to December 7th when I finished it. I'm trying now to get some progress every day! I'll be switching it out with my other full coverage. It sounds like you have a busy stitchy year! All those starts with everyone! I think you'll be over the 30 maximum that you wanted. Did I miss Feast? It's possible as the dogs were running around chasing each other, playing tug of war, etc. so I missed some of you commentary and a few parts of the video. Take care & see you next month!

I love your projects. I’m starting 3 new charts in January with one being a HAED Supersized Max Color. Apparently I like huge projects.
