      @whatisausername6325 4 месяца назад

      It is the "Armor Eroder" skill, which does 30% piercing damage and inflicts P/M.def down II. Since the boss has 95% piercing dmg reduction, the damage is reduced to 1902 dmg. The debuff dmg is from Stigmata stacks from the Boss "Abyssal Gaze" passive, which reduce 5% hp per stack.

    Congrats to the clear! As amazing as always! I am also trying to clear but I struggle a lot with tankiness. I am level 42 and my Gacha Characters are Beryl, Edda, Col and Magnus. Aside from Col who is very nice on this stage do you think the other ones will contribute in the clear or should I try and use someone else from the lower rarity units? I am trying out Outlaw Guard but aside from that no idea what to use. I think Magnus with his Vulnerable 2 and overall ATK + Def reduction trait can do smth useful but his movement is so low that he can't contribute much in clearing turrets at all. Edda's Casket slows down the enemy but it becomes troublesome when the boss is slowed down because the mobs will instantly attack after the boss makes a move. On the other hand she does have P.Def down with 50% on her Basic like Outlaw Guard and her box gives her a lot of tankiness. So if I go for a physical team I don't use the Casket anyway. Beryl can potentially take care of the turrets on the left side but no idea how viable that is and combining her with Edda sounds good on paper but as mentioned above slowing down the boss is actually very, very bad. I currently don't think Beryl will do much in this run. But maybe a second Seeker? No idea honestly. My healer of choice is Angel ofc and she needs the M.Def command, but currently she can't even survive on 60 with her. She is too squishy. I am missing all those Defensive buffs and don't know how to handle this boss without Gloria. Also, using 4 Devil Tarots is simply the best approach I assume, right? It gives damage and tankiness which is very much needed for this Trial.

    • @whatisausername6325
      @whatisausername6325 4 месяца назад

      If you are struggling with Tankiness, what I would suggest is either adding in Papal Ice Priest, KA Guard or Night Raven. Papal Ice Priest has the "Field" Aura which reduces AoE dmg for all allies by 25%, KA Guard has the "Soul Mate" Support which gives an upwards of 40% DEF and 15% ATK to allies, and Night Raven has the "Glare" Reaction which inflicts DMG down II (20%) on the Boss after Night Raven takes damage. Other options would be to use the trinket Tarot Shroud for one turn of 50% magical dmg reduction (Which I used in this clear for the first attack) or the Series 2 Tarot "Hierophant's Laws" (20% AoE dmg reduction) obtainable from the Beryal Skin Gacha reward "Nameless Tarot" or using KA Fire Conjuerer/Blade/Candlelight/Nightingale for their single-target "Potential Burst"/"Light of Healing"/"Special Mission"/"Painkiller" Support to grant M.Def II/DMG Reduction III. These are prob less relevant since you have Edda who gives M.Def II and Angel innately has DMG Reduction II through her "Endurance Activation" Reaction. Of course, you may also try "Manuever Command" telporting Angel away from the Apacolypse AoE if that is the one that is giving you struggles. If you are struggling with the Single Target attack, I reccommend manipulating an Assassin with "Fancy Footwork" to dodge the attack. If Col is struggling with clearing Turrets, I would suggest also adding in Crimson Falcon. The faster you can get to 10 stacks of Devil and the Boss to injured, the easier the clear becomes. Devil is the best Tarot in this fight. One character must hold the Judgment Tarot to dispell the boss buffs, but if you have a high rank Tuning Hammer or Anti-magic Axe you can also equip the last unit with Devil since those weapons dispells buffs as well.

      @@whatisausername6325 Thanks again for the detailed answer! I want to see which of those units can help me out but if I swap those in I will struggle either with turret clears or overall DPS on the boss. Currently I struggle if I want to use additional Castella on lower rarity units because in the beginning I blindly leveled up skills based on Evaneris' sheet and it kinda backfired now when I look at the trial bosses. Especially the Papal Guard reaction one hurts the most. Unfortunately I don't have either a Rank 3 Tuning or Anti-Magic Rank 5 so i do need the Judgement on one of my Axe users. I don't know if Edda is worth using in this run when I run a full physical comp, but she does provide additional M.Def. so I am looking if it works out. Even though your Angel has all those buffs in the run you mentioned that she can only survive with the Shroud (which I don't possess) so I don't see my Angel surviving this burst at level 42 at all honestly. As I also don't possess Rejection Mask Rank 3 I am not sure if its worth to level and use. Two current problems I am facing: 1. Edda's Team-buff has a CD of 4 turns, if I don't use it early Edda dies from the first Omen of Doom Extra 2 single target attack on turn 2. I either use it turn 1 so she can survive it or I try to use it later so my whole team is buffed with M.Def when the big AoE nuke comes. With her own buff she survives it with a measly 88 HP and only because she also gets her 40% Dmg reduction from standing adjacent to a box. 2. I think the AoE nuke will wipe out my team aside from Edda even with her buff. I have a feeling I am missing a lot of needed reduction. Will try out your suggestions, but I am not sure they will go much damage. One important question I have is the following: Do you think I even need Outlaw Guard if I use Edda with her Rupture Armor passive and Magnus with his War Cry or should I use Barricade fight on Edda and include Outlaw Guard? Some tough decisions to make honestly.

    • @whatisausername6325
      @whatisausername6325 4 месяца назад

      @@DancerJeromeSoC I agree, its really tough. I would think that Magnus is better than Outlaw Guard in most ways with Magnus having both Atk decrease on Passive and Trait, and I'm not sure if its worth giving up Vulnerable for 15% atk from Barricade on Edda. I agree that Edda most likely stays due to her Support giving M.Def boost and Dmg Boost. Which step of the boss fight are you currently struggling with? Is Angel dying to the bubble burst or Apocalpyse? Is Edda's Shield Break + Warhorn enough to break the shield the boss makes? Are all your Talents leveled up? If Apocalypse is giving you trouble, it might be possible to have her run away the first time, and heal your team using an alternate source like the Hymn of Life Tactic or Spring Tonic Trinket until you can get the boss to Injured. This boss is truely a struggle with all the requirments it asks of us.

    • @DancerJeromeSoC
      @DancerJeromeSoC 4 месяца назад

      @@whatisausername6325 Thanks for being so helpful! I can't thank you enough <3 I think I am currently forced to use Barricade Fight on Edda because the 15% extra ATK stacks up and enables her to deal with the turrets in the first place. It also boosts her assisting attacks. If i had her 3 Star she would deal a lot more damage even. I am not sure if she can handle them without it. If I swap out Outlaw Guard then I can try Rupture Armor (P.Def down), but the problem is that Edda rarely attacks the boss to even apply it. The assisting attack does not apply this debuff I think or do they count as active attacks? I usually clear Turrets with her. Not sure if I can use Warhorn because without March Command I struggle with positioning because Edda really wants that box in the right position on turn 1 if possible. Edda has no Shieldbreak pre-45 which is what I am aiming for. I believe when I hit 45 I will clear the boss just fine. But I rather want to do it before that. And yes, Apocalypse is what is breaking my attempts. The issue that Edda and angel both are slower than the boss brings a lot of problems. You want the defensive buffer on someone who is faster than the boss. That is why I currently need to use double Urgent Order on both Edda and Angel at specific times to manage the buffs and get everyone topped up. But even with all those things it is not enough. No one aside from Edda and crimson falcon can survive the nuke because both have in-built damage reduction of 20%+. Crimson falcon wouldnt even survive if she didnt have 4k, or at least 3.7k, HP due to HP gear. Maybe I need to think it over. If I use a second seeker who clears Turrets instead she can focus on the boss, but not sure if that is a good strategy. She does not assist much in clearing the shield because as a ranged watcher she has her turn after the boss, so always when turrets spawn. And its usually better to clear them with her instead. Biggest flaw in comparison to Gloria is that Edda is slower than the boss which makes it really hard to manage the buffs properly when the boss nuke comes. After the AoE Nuke, Edda also needs to recast her chest to gain the needed reduction to survive the single target attack, but that requires another Urgent Order which is usually very hard to do. She is also single target only while Gloria can DPS the boss simultaneously while clearing a turret. All around a very big difference in power and I can understand why nearly everyone says get Gloria or reroll. Turn 1 Angel just tanks the Basic Attack nearly dying in the process but that doesn't matter. Would prefer that Edda tanks this but she can't because there is no box in place (because she has lower speed than the boss). I also need to use March Command here because I struggle with movement. Edda wants to set up her box on turn 1 I think so I kinda need to do that. Maybe this is a mistake but I need to try next time. I don't think I can use her Buff without Urgent Order after Magnus' turn 2 if I decide to use it turn 2. Need to try that next time. The problem I face then if I do that is that Angel will not have Edda's buff Turn 5. No idea if that is a feasible strategy. I need everyone to be buffed. So, turn 2 Edda barely survives with her own M.Def 40% Buff & 40% Reduction from Reaction + Angel M.Def Command 30% + ATK2 down from Intimidate/Magnus WarCry (it doesnt stack unfortunately). Turn 3 I kinda need to decide which towers to clear. I struggle here to clear every tower so i already need to circumvent it by using a tactic because Col's trait is on cooldown so she won't reset even if she clears something. Eddas biggest flaw is that she is not very mobile while also requiring an Urgent Order on Turn 5 to even be able to buff the team again. This is because I can not use Flag of Convallaria early due to the fact that I am using March Command. Turn 4 I can break the shield, Edda does decent DPS due to True Lens enabling her to crit sometimes with her assist attack and Irian Bow. My gripe here is that Edda can not handle a Watcher Tower alone unfortunately so I kinda need to accommodate it with some weird rotation. On Turn 5 my whole team loses the Edda buff and gets obliterated by the nuke. I am not sure how to buff my team while also ensuring that everyone is full HP. I couldnt figure out how to get to this step with all stars aligned which is Full HP, Edda Buff, everyone in range of Angel command aura, boss being injured and 8 stacks of Devil tarot buff. Edit: In another variation today at level 44 I managed to get Edda buff down, but my team can not survive the nuke. While full-buffed Col has 3343 HP, 1039 MDef with 8 Devil stacks. Magnus has 3487 HP and 921 MDef while Angel got 3281 HP and 1075 MDef. The boss is debuffed with 20% ATK minus and 8% ATK minus from Magnus Aura at 3944 M.ATK. When the nuke lands Col gets 4700+ which is likely a crit, Magnus 3800+ because he lacked Angel Aura and Angel gets 3400 so barely not enough for her. Crimson Angel survives because she has 20% dmg reduction and only gets like 3500 damage while having 4k due to newborn blade. Edda survives because she gets 40% dmg reduction when standing next to an item, which can also be a rock conveniently enough. On your Gloria team everyone has 20% Reduction and I believe this is worth more than 40% MDef considering it stacks with the 30% from Angel's aura anyway so I think the Edda buff is much less worth (due to diminishing returns) than that 20% Dmg reduction aura from Gloria. Not even forgetting that she reduces the boss ATK by 10% from her aura too. And also provides everyone with 12% Def on top. While also being the unit that can tank the boss. I unfortunately think that the buffs Gloria provide are far superior to Edda's buff. It feels like your whole team is wearing a bonus rejection mask when I look at those numbers in comparison to mine. My talents are kinda maxed out in the way of what my resources allow me to. I currently think I need to push more Defensive stats on everyone but I also need more Phys Dmg on Watcher so Edda can solo a Watcher tower without issue but it depends on my setup. I am considering switching out Outlaw Guard, but what I need in return is someone who can reliably buff the team or debuff the boss further. The downside of switching out Outlaw Guard is not having a second axe user for dispel which in turn makes Magnus weaker, needing to use Rupture Armor on Edda which makes her turret clearing worse and in turn makes the boss harder to DPS, but maybe my DPS is enough? If not a buffer, then someone who can reliably clear the mobs. Which unit aside from Col is the best for clearing out those turrets? Is stringer or crimson falcon better? One has more damage, the other has more mobility. The glare thing I want to try. But I rather want a second Axe unit cuz of Tuning Hammer because Magnus is wearing a Rank 3 Hollow Axe which is his BiS weapon for DPS as the weapon grants extra ATK based on Phys Def and M Def which is kinda great especially on this stage. I can try solo Axe with Magnus and see if a second turret clear unit can make a difference. There is also another option I kinda saw. The Abyss Leader Aura buffs Drifter units (which Col and Edda are a part of) for 10% ATK and 20% Def. I am not sure if it will help out honestly. She is great for debuffing the boss though.

    • @whatisausername6325
      @whatisausername6325 4 месяца назад

      Gloria's buffs actually matter less in this team comp because I'm using her in addition to Might, who has the Attack Command Aura. Since the flag aura and command aura don't stack, you can stick your units close to Might to get the same 12% atk boost Gloria's Flag gives. I think you might be able to replace Gloria with one of the Pikeman (Outlaw or KA) who can inflict Vulnerable (Insightful Bash for V1 or Curse for V2) and use melee attacks from a distance (important for Voltage Shock), though I haven't tried myself. Magus would could work well since he can inflict Vulnerable II. There might be some trouble with the rocks in the first rotation without Gloria's AoE, but overall the AoE is used more as a basic ranged attack rather than an important factor in the clear.

    • @DancerJeromeSoC

      @@whatisausername6325 Hey, thanks for the elaborate reply! I currently am trying out the Magnus strat with Vulnerable because I believe he should be my best bet on clearing this trial pre-45 but I need to see if I can do it. Not sure what else I should use aside from him. I feel like Col does not do a lot in Trial 2 and I agree that Might will probably do better than Rawiyah. Those two won't do it imo. What I really need I think is something that can buff/debuff while also doing ranged melee attacks. Will try out your suggestions with the Pikemans but I dunno about them. What is your opinion on Lightning? She has two AoEs and Crit Command Aura. Is her AoE worth anything? I rather wanna look for an AoE that can hit diagonally, not just a straight line for the heal downphase. Or do you believe I should always try and tank the slam? But I think I need to disagree here with the undervaluing of Gloria. I am not only talking about the attack buff. Just because the buff matters a bit "less" doesn't take away all her other benefits she provides in that run. Especially the defensive ones that are even more relevant for Trial 3. On the trial compilation spreadsheet there is no Gloria-less clear pre-45 which kinda tells a lot. For Trial 3 all Gloria-less runs are 48+ at minimum too. Everyone who started later on without Gloria has more trouble with those trials. Aside from the double AoE (from flag throw and moon slash) which solves over 2-3 attacks on the early rotation bringing the boss earlier to the injured state and also in the later rotations when the boss does midrow slam, the defensive and movement buffs also make positioning to manipulate the meteors easier. Overall I can not see any early clears (at 40 or even before) without Gloria on that efficient level. You were also very, very close so yea. Thanks again for answering! I will try out and find a way to prevail and get an early clear on Trial 2 and 3 without Gloria if possible. Otherwise I guess I need to be higher for more talent nodes and overall stats.

      @@DancerJeromeSoC I do see your point on movement and def buff. I had forgotten about those, so thanks for the reminder. An AoE that can hit diagionally that I found recently is Outlaw Pikeman's R7 "Powerful Blow" or a "Sweeping Bash" from an Axe character like Outlaw Axeman. My injured characters were not able to tank the slam, but perhaps a self-healing character like Flare or Rawyiyah can. Lighting is an interesting character I've never used so I can't speak about her dmg output or survivablity (Distain Trait), but Crit Command does seem good, and I like how Gale Dance and Eon Storm can hit diagionally. Good luck with your clear!

I tried my best to do it with the other ideas we came up with but it didn't work out. Knighted Guard, similar to Edda, can use his full kit in just one turn which is very, very convenient while Magnus needs two turns and struggles with the same problem as Gloria with the Solemnity Debuff Aura. While Gloria is just broken in general, Magnus is too slow for this so Knighted Guard funneling all his value to Rawiyah and Outlaw Guard is so much better if he needs to run on the other turns. GLORIA MUST STAND CENTER FOR "SOLEMITY" AURA TO TAKE EFFECT! Ugh...I am so annoyed they made the aura work that way. "Solemity" is a strong Aura that reduces enemy attack by 10%. This is extremely potent - before I was using the aura the boss would hit for 5k, after I equipped it the boss hits for only 3k which is much more livable. Additionally, although Crimson Falcon's "Lock-On" reduces the P.Def of the enemy with the highest P.Atk, rarely will it lock onto the boss due to "Intimidate" and "Solemity" reducing the P.Atk of the Boss to be less than the P.Atk of the Turrets it summons.

      hmm... what I can think of is perhaps the postitioning is a little off. The boss will always hit the closest ally with the Dust to Dust, and counts the central column as the closest. You have to put Blade in the center with Stinger either on the left or right of it. Hope that works!

    No "Cooling Powder" Trinket or Inanna needed! Once again, I need to squeeze out 7k dmg from somewhere to manage a 15 round clear. Sorry, I tried my best. I saw a nice lv.45 run that used Knighted Guard for his "Vulnerable II" (Increases dmg taken by 20%) debuff. I'll try that strategy next week.

      Might is underrated btw. He does more damage than my Rawyiyah because he has better multipliers on his attacks (100% + 20% basic attack vs 85%) and gains a 10% attack increase if he doesn't move before attacking. While his attack command aura does not stack with either of Gloria's Flag Auras, it does buff Gloria when she's still holding the flag since Gloria's Aura does not apply to herself. Great DPS unit.

    Tips I found out while making this: 1) Warhorn is a strong tactic - for one turn it reduces the boss' defense by 20% and increases their damage taken by 60%. My damage that turn will literally double or more after Warhorn for the very cheap cost of just 275 TP. You can get the Warhorn tactic at lv.40. 2) The activation of "Voltage Shock" does not count as a turn for debuffs despite taking up one of the Boss Turns. Therefore, you can have debuffs last one extra turn if you time it right. I do this at the very end of the video to have Warhorn last for 2 turns instead of one. 3) A healing item on Gloria is incredibly important to allow her to spread out a little further from the team while inflicted by Voltage Shock. Usually being far away means you are out of Angel's healing range. 4) If Outlaw Guard's def reducing ability does not proc when you really do need it to (ie. Warhorn Turns), then you can backtrack, use your trinket ability on a random rock, and roll the attack again in hopes of now changing the outcome. Just backtracking normally will do nothing since the game saves the progress, but if you do things a little differently the game will also calculate your attacks differently. 5) I got a lot of TP from healing the dying and AoE healing. Depending on your unit's health, you may have less TP then me. 6) The comet shards will blow up after being hit by any of the boss attacks and do 80% piecing to all units in one tile - but only if they are not destroyed by the damage the boss does. I actually forgot about this and messed up some of my unit's placements when they would have been safe if I had allowed 2 of the Cross-Lightings to hit the shard instead of spreading out.

    Would you say Nightingale is required for this comp? I was able to do difficulty 60 with Angel, Beryl, Stinger, Recruited Assassin, and Outlaw Crossbowman but it's hard to find a replacement for Nightingale's kit for 65.

      It might be possible with Outlaw Archer, just using Luxite Sharpels to stack Infection even higher. As long as you can survive the AoE without Nightingale's Weapon Eroder, I believe you can DoT them even if you miss a few hits here and there. (Another character with Weapon Eroder would be Outlaw Guard)

    The "Hierophant's Laws" Tarot that Blade has equipped is a Series 2 Tarot that cannot be obtained through Tarot Trials. Currently, the only way to obtain this tarot is through the special "Nameless Tarot" selector from the Venture Draw event (Beryl Skin event). While you can guarantee the tarot selector with a couple thousand gems, I suggest against it. As a substitute using a Rank-3 "Rejection Mask" trinket + "Silence of the Hermit" tarot (20% + 10%) makes for the same effect as I got with Coexist Armor + Hierophant (10% + 20%).

      Something must be wrong with my account because ain't no way you weren't getting one shoted. Like even when he was level 45 and me level 20+ I beat him but I need Abyss for the Atk debuff without it was instant death. How can they survive like that WITHOUT Weapon engrave at that ?

  •  4 месяца назад

    It worked for me at lvl 48. It changed a bit, cuz Nightingale's trait didn't proc at the same turns as in the video, but it didn't make much difference. Mine is only 1*, so Sword of Convallaria was enough for CD reduction. If the trait messes her speed, you just move to the same tile as shown in the video indepently of the order. My skills and gear were a bit different too. My blade had rejection mask (rank 1) and the Hermit (lvl. 50); he also didn't have Fleeing Hare nor Maneuver. Since all my units were lvl 48 using lvl 30-50 gear, their dmg from basic atks also added up and I finished my run a bit earlier. Had to adjust some of the healing and positioning when somebody else had less HP5 than blade, but everything worked perfectly. Only used the explosive barril on the last turn and finished the boss off with it.

    any idea why my light conjurer always outspd nightingale ?

    • @whatisausername6325
      @whatisausername6325 4 месяца назад

      Nightingale has an extremely finicky trait to increaese her speed (and thus influence the turn order) that only activates when a character is dying. If you find that this trait activates, she will move before the boss, but once deactivated she will move after the boss. This makes for an annoying scenerio where she may move before the boss, but next turn will move after the boss initates the AoE dmg (which kills her if shes currently postioned incorrectly). The best tip I can give is to be aware when the trait activates and move her into a safe position independant of the current turn order.
