The "Hierophant's Laws" Tarot that Blade has equipped is a Series 2 Tarot that cannot be obtained through Tarot Trials. Currently, the only way to obtain this tarot is through the special "Nameless Tarot" selector from the Venture Draw event (Beryl Skin event). While you can guarantee the tarot selector with a couple thousand gems, I suggest against it. As a substitute using a Rank-3 "Rejection Mask" trinket + "Silence of the Hermit" tarot (20% + 10%) makes for the same effect as I got with Coexist Armor + Hierophant (10% + 20%).
Something must be wrong with my account because ain't no way you weren't getting one shoted. Like even when he was level 45 and me level 20+ I beat him but I need Abyss for the Atk debuff without it was instant death. How can they survive like that WITHOUT Weapon engrave at that ?
It worked for me at lvl 48. It changed a bit, cuz Nightingale's trait didn't proc at the same turns as in the video, but it didn't make much difference. Mine is only 1*, so Sword of Convallaria was enough for CD reduction. If the trait messes her speed, you just move to the same tile as shown in the video indepently of the order. My skills and gear were a bit different too. My blade had rejection mask (rank 1) and the Hermit (lvl. 50); he also didn't have Fleeing Hare nor Maneuver. Since all my units were lvl 48 using lvl 30-50 gear, their dmg from basic atks also added up and I finished my run a bit earlier. Had to adjust some of the healing and positioning when somebody else had less HP5 than blade, but everything worked perfectly. Only used the explosive barril on the last turn and finished the boss off with it.
Nightingale's Trait is really finicky - It increases her speed by 150 and tile movement by 1 only when there are dying allies within 6 tiles of her. In the first turn of this run, her trait is used to allow her to move an extra tile for a better "Burning Grenade" placement, but otherwise this trait is just something that you would need to babysit the entire run. Just remember each character only gets ONE turn per round, and don't accidently put her in a place that will get her killed by the Boss AoE.
From what I've seen, it doesn't proc on the follow-ups. I think it might be since Burning Blade only activates on Active Attacks, but I'm not sure what is considered an active attack. This run is definitely doable without Burning Blade or Whale Hunter, but you might need to level your units a bit more.
How did you survive his 3x atk after AoE ? The dodge only dodge 2 of the 3 attacks. I need to use traceless shadow so i can dodge the 3rd one. its impossible to survive otherwise.
Thanks! The Hierophant's Law tarot is a Series 2 tarot, which means it's currently exclusive to the tarot selector reward from the Venture Draw event (Beryl Skin event). While you can guarantee the tarot selector with a couple thousand gems, I suggest against it. As a substitute using a Rank3 Rejection Mask + Hermit (20% + 10%) makes for the same effect as I got with Coexist Armor + Hierophant (10% + 20%).
It is the "Armor Eroder" skill, which does 30% piercing damage and inflicts P/M.def down II. Since the boss has 95% piercing dmg reduction, the damage is reduced to 1902 dmg. The debuff dmg is from Stigmata stacks from the Boss "Abyssal Gaze" passive, which reduce 5% hp per stack.
Would you say Nightingale is required for this comp? I was able to do difficulty 60 with Angel, Beryl, Stinger, Recruited Assassin, and Outlaw Crossbowman but it's hard to find a replacement for Nightingale's kit for 65.
It might be possible with Outlaw Archer, just using Luxite Sharpels to stack Infection even higher. As long as you can survive the AoE without Nightingale's Weapon Eroder, I believe you can DoT them even if you miss a few hits here and there. (Another character with Weapon Eroder would be Outlaw Guard)
Nightingale has an extremely finicky trait to increaese her speed (and thus influence the turn order) that only activates when a character is dying. If you find that this trait activates, she will move before the boss, but once deactivated she will move after the boss. This makes for an annoying scenerio where she may move before the boss, but next turn will move after the boss initates the AoE dmg (which kills her if shes currently postioned incorrectly). The best tip I can give is to be aware when the trait activates and move her into a safe position independant of the current turn order.

I would replace Nightingale, assuming that your Blade can survive without Nightgale givng the boss the 20% atk debuff. Nightingale does 1902 dmg through her piercing dmg, if your Momo can do the same or more, its an easy slot in. The other 2 dps units are nessisary to hit the max 9 stacks of infection.
@@whatisausername6325 I think that momo with erosive power can put 2 stacks of infection and with flying blade armguard in 2 unique turns of the battle he can put 4 that plus the damage amplification of the dot, that's why my question
hmm... what I can think of is perhaps the postitioning is a little off. The boss will always hit the closest ally with the Dust to Dust, and counts the central column as the closest. You have to put Blade in the center with Stinger either on the left or right of it. Hope that works!
@@Box_of_Octopus I figured it out. apparently my lvl 48 blade has too much HP. I had to exchange his equipment to level 1 so when he gets hit he’s always about to die so nightingale trait could trigger. I have lvl 50 tarot card on him and level 1 weapon and armor.
Its possible with Recruited Assassin as long as you can level him enough to survive the AoE. I choose to use Blade since Epic units have slightly higher stats.
Hey I stole this Strat from you because I couldn’t beat it. I couldn’t replicate your playthrough with blade. Just.. something wasn’t working. So I used nonowill. She can tank all of boss by herself. And she can add additional infection stacks. Used explosive barrel last couple of rounds to ensure I would finish on time. Ty!
You can use Recruited Assassin as a sub, they both have the "Fancy Footwork" skill required for this strat! But you'll have to level Recruited Assassin a little more so he can match Blade's stats and survive the AoE
Just saw a lv44 guy doing it and thought damn thats impressive, until you showed up Im like damn bro is on another level!!. I sent you friend request if you have space please add, ign: Outboxer
Jesus 😮
It's insane what people can do in this game ❤
This is insane mate and it inspired me, I'll probably replicate this run with yours thank you. You're goated.
It's all thanks to @azer.gaming strategy, I was very surprised it worked as well
This is crazy..
Absolute chad player

F already using those selector for series 1....

Holy shit what the hell dude
I was just 1,400 dmg away from a 3-star clear! Thats less than 1% of the boss' hp....
wooooow
100 pulls no nightingales, cries in the corner
i had to pity beryl (180 pulls) and not a single nightingale 😭
Same😂
Same bro 😂

Amazing run, a single mistake and you'd die, honestly impressive
believe me, I made a lot of mistakes I didn't show xd

You are good
How is your blade only taking 2699 damage at minute 2:21? mine has higher stats and is getting hit for 3600+...
How great video man! Does this team work at lvl 55? I'm having trouble getting past this level 😮💨
thanks. Does Burning Blade proc on all the follow-up attacks Stinger does too, or just his one single target skill?
From what I've seen, it doesn't proc on the follow-ups. I think it might be since Burning Blade only activates on Active Attacks, but I'm not sure what is considered an active attack.

Is it possible to replace blade with recruited thief?
How did you survive his 3x atk after AoE ? The dodge only dodge 2 of the 3 attacks. I need to use traceless shadow so i can dodge the 3rd one. its impossible to survive otherwise.
"Dodge" buffs stack, so I not only activated it on the turn I expected the attack but also the turn before for a total of 4 stacks of "Dodge"
The first time you move nightingale.. how are you giving her 4 movement?
hello, i don't have outlaw crossbowman. Who i can use instead of himplease
I couldn't even beat this on 60 at lv 39... I constantly kill myself with the placement. I've never even seen that tarot before, though.

Can we use anyone else for Outlaw Crossbowman? The only one from epics i dont have sadly
Hello! Is there any unit that I can replicar Blade?
Try using Recruited Assasin! All you need is the fancy footwork skills to reduce AoE dmg and dodge the triple hit.
any idea why my light conjurer always outspd nightingale ?

Not understand why my blade can't doge the Dust to dust ex 2
You need 4 stacks of dodge (you need to use the skill twice)
Use the skill twice in order to dodge the 3 hit. Dodge counters from Fancy Footwork stacks.
Does this work without armor eroder?
Dont think so unfortunately
I think it may be possible, each instance of Armor Eroder is just 2k damage. The infection basic attack on Outlaw Crossbowman is very good.
how come your nightingale can move more blocks?
Her passive give more movement if Someone is dying

why your Nightingale is so fast? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong lol
he keep one of his unit in Dying state, that's why he explained it was finicky, you can get caught in AoE if you're not careful.
