I came across this randomly and can’t stop watching. His muscle control is outrageous. Those mid-air toe taps are blowing my mind right now, and all that crazy spinning and flipping…. This guy defies gravity and still manages absolutely flawless form. Not to mention, he’s wearing the hell out of those tights.

My dad was manager at the Paris Opera when Nureyev was director. My step mother was a ballerina and Nureyev loved her and my dad. My dad was always bringing me with him at the Opera. It was my second home. Nureyev was so impressive when he was giving classes. Just to be next to him you could feel his immense charisma. What a blessing for me to grow amongst him and some other incredible dancers of that period.

Absolutely amazing. Strength, vitality, expression and athletic artistry. I actually had no idea of his age! To find out he was born 1938 blew my mind. Died in 1993 from AIDS complications. Really struck me. But I can watch his genius in 2024 on RUclips.
