Talking about quite and water noise caused me to think of the Wet Wall and Quiet Pool at the Fort Worth Water Gardens. It's a space designed for quite contemplation.

Chandor Gardens is a favorite of mine. One of the things I love about the place is the use of found and ordinary items in the fountains and features. Like for example the decorative green glass in the dragon fountain is actually vintage pop bottles. Douglas Chandor worked with what was available.

Fort Worth is to Dallas as fresh air is to carbon monoxide.

The Fort Worth Botanic and Japanese are in the same park. Both are beautiful and usually (weekdays) sparse and peaceful.

I visited Bok Tower Gardens Sun, Dec 18, 2022 for the first time. Thank you for capturing your visit so beautifully. Having the rainy day you had really allowed all the colors a fully saturated lushness.

The site of this garden was once an Abandoned rock quarry and garbage dump. It was an amazing transformation from wasteland to paradise
