Ally Financial Screwed Us Over
We are sharing this video because we want to help you protect yourself. This video explains how Ally Financial screwed my daughter Kitana over when she sold her leased vehicle to Carmax.
I’ve always been told to read a contract thoroughly before signing anything, but like most people, we didn’t read six pages of size twelve font and it cost my daughter over $5,000.00
If you are leasing a vehicle I would be very careful who you choose to finance it. Look for this clause and don’t sign the lease if it contains a clause like this.
The two websites I found with people reporting Ally Financial are
www.ripoffreport.com
and
www.complaintsboard.com

UNUSUAL DRYWALL REPAIR and how to overcome oddities
Просмотров 2472 года назад
A long time customer from Willingboro, New Jersey reached out because she needed drywall repair to restore an area where a plumber had to cut open the wall behind her toilet in order to access the plumbing cleanout. In hopes to not spend money repairing the wall more than once she wanted an access panel installed. You might initially think this is a very standard procedure, but as you will see ...

Wood Rot Repair Made Easy - Don’t replace what you can repair Bob shows you how to easily repair wood that has been damaged by moisture. A lot of home owners are inclined to hire someone to replace rotted wood that’s either part of their door jambs, window trim, garage doors, the roof over their porches and overhangs and many other locations around the home. Bob wants you to know that you can p...
BATHROOM REFRESH IN LEVITTOWN PA
Просмотров 2282 года назад
Bob and Kitana were at it again, this time back in good ole Levittown, PA where we did a bathroom refresh. This refresh included new tile floor, new vanity and a new toilet. This job took two days to accomplish, mainly because of the nature of tile and grout. These clients are top notch people who are friendly, accommodating, understanding and just overall really naturally friendly; these are a...

Bob and Kitana returned to the Yardley porch rehab on November 2nd, 2021; we were right on track until Home Depot came in and messed everything up with their inability to deliver product at a time and date we agreed upon. This is episode 2 in this mini-series where Bob and Kitana put up the final touches of the soffit material. It’s not a real educational video, but it ties in to show the final...
PORCH MAKEOVER THAT ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN
Просмотров 4292 года назад
Bob and Kitana were hired to build new steps, replace old rotted wooden posts and railings with vinyl wrapped posts and all vinyl railings. I won’t say this is a homeowner DIY friendly job right out of the gate, but with the help of Home Depot you are almost guaranteed to fail. We outline the poor customer service we have come to expect from the Home Depot, its delivery department and the assoc...

We have a customer who resides in South Philadelphia who has had us perform several home improvement tasks for them with this being just one of the jobs. THE CORRECT WAY TO INSTALL PORCH POSTS
Просмотров 46 тыс.2 года назад
I've seen more than my fair share of carpenters, handymen, home improvement contractors, homeowners and the like that have either installed or replaced porch posts, and have done it incorrectly. When strong winds come into play and the bottom of a post isn't attached to the decking, the post base can move and when the wind rests the roofing back down, the support is no longer there and severe d...
ONE DAY LAUNDRY ROOM REMODEL
Просмотров 1852 года назад
Bob and Kitana were contracted to perform a partial laundry room remodel. The client had some drywall repair that needed to be completed, followed by painting and installing a new vinyl laminate floor. One of the troubles we ran into was the patch on the concrete floor. The cement work was not done properly by whoever rerouted the plumbing for the washing machine and so we had to overcome that,...
DID THEY PAY TO FIX THAT
Просмотров 1422 года назад
One might be curious why someone would pay for a ceiling drywall repair that is so small and barely noticeable, but not all damaged drywall is what it seems. This drywall is actually quite damaged below the surface, but an untrained eye likely can’t see it. This beautiful home is located in Titusville, New Jersey and situated on a nice piece of wooden property. It boasts beautiful sitting areas...

We did use power tools to perform this job, but they are not necessary however, they do speed things up quite a bi...
How to SAFELY REMOVE A HEAVY AC UNIT from the wall
Просмотров 31 тыс.2 года назад
We were hired to remove a through-the-wall AC unit, otherwise known as a wall mounted AC unit and then to close in the hole so that it looked like it never existed. This is a heavy 15,000 btu air-conditioner that is not only installed high on the wall, over our heads, but it is also over a set of steps and a tile floor, both of which complicate the mission. Bob came up with a solution to this a...

Wow. My bottom plate refuses to come off. I’ve been using some heavy gage wire and I’m lifting the entire machine up. I’m even wrapping the wire around a metal bar for leverage. I’m sitting on top of the machine to hold it down. I’m 6’2” and 220. I can’t budge this mofo. I’ve tried hammering it to loosen it and nothing. I’ve wrestled with this thing for 20 mins 2 times now. What else have people done??

Nice video Bob. There were many tips I liked. *BUT* I noticed the balusters on the stairs don't line up. Right side vs left side. In other words the highest baluster on the right side starts at about 2-1/2" from the center post. On the left side it starts about 1-1/2" from the center base post. I couldn't walk away from a job like that.

Some corrections I would suggest: 1. You could use the old brake pads as a uniform surface for the clamps instead of going into the piston chamber and that would have pressed both pistons evenly and less likely to cause damage to the caliper/pistons 2. grease all contact points so there is less vibration or brake noise 3. use a rubber mallet not a metal one when hitting against one of the most important parts of your car, the thing that stops it!!

I know what you mean. Have you ever tried using concrete anchor? Drill a hole as usual (you can actually drill deeper than the anchor itself since this is not a screw) pound the anchor in with a hammer and then this being an anchor it has a bolt on top that you tighten and the anchor expands preventing itself from being lose.

@@keytothegate68 Yep. Only ones I actually use. Dang near can hold a car engine they are that strong of a hold. Tapcons NEVER worked for me. They ALWAYS are a sloppy fit and get loose. When I used those before I had to insert some wood in the hole just to get it to tighten properly. Yes I used the correct drill bit too.
