Dude, amazing work! 👏 I have 3 large wall units in the house and ill be converting to split dual air. This will save me hundreds of dollars doing it myself.
Very good video. But the part I was really interested in is how to repair the vinyl siding. You played in high speed making a very difficult to see what you did. It would be great if you had a little of that in regular speed and then sped it up. Thank you
Great job! I'm quite curious what the cost for covering an AC unit hole would be nowadays? I live in NJ and I want to get ride of my old AC units but I'm not sure I can endeavor in such an operation you just did! Thanks!
Thanks for the video. Can the hole be enlarged? I have a very old unit that’s now shot and the updated model is about an inch wider then the hole from the old unit
Thanks for the video. I'm doing just that (taking out a 15000 BTU a/c) this week. Just one question about the insulation: isn't the paper supposed to face the inside of the home?
While I’d love to be able to do this myself, I am completely uncoordinated and would probably make the hole bigger. How much does this patch work usually cost? I have a small one and a large one I would love to get rid of.
Does the AC unit at your rental no longer function? I'm quite certain if you rented a place that has an appliance in it, it must work, but that may change state by state; check with your local housing authority, but remember, if your too much of a pest they may try to evict as well. Cheers, Bob

Beautiful work skill
Great work, going to use your system to cover one in my garage!
Incredible!
Great video but one question: did you staple the water seal after you tucked it in?
Can you please list the materials again? It was difficult to hear what you used. Thank you so much!
Great website
Very nice job. I have TWO I need done!!!! I don't even know who I can call and the cost so I've been putting it off.

8:59 your smell wifting along the homestead as she gets back from her short trip away, and she loves you for that.
Thanks this is exactly what i needed ! 👍
Can't hear you over this music lol

Build a box and place in the box. You want a solid perimeter around entire edge. You dont at top or bottom.
what if you have a steel frame house how do you do it then?. I have 3 ( air-cons)that need taking out and the holes patching
What are the panels called that you used to cover for the outside? Thank you
Good video although background music could be softer as like others mentioned it was hard to hear what was being said.

Yes, paper goes towards the finished space.
@@DAMusic-qu2ec At 4:42 It looks like the insulation is facing the wrong way.

Great video Bob. Quick question, did they remove the a/c because they upgraded to central, or was it just an eyesore for them?
Can you come to New York to do mine
Proper 👍
Should have boxed out the entire window but it should hold. Good job.
It is boxed out what do you mean?
I don't hear him explaining what he's doing
Great video, however, the music in the background was very distracting. Would much rather just hear you talking ❤
Like it never even existed.
Wsh my landlord would do this.

Long vid. Too long.
Useless comment. Extremely useless.
