Should have in bed long ago, but I can't turn this off! It is a brilliant live performance of beautiful music with a band with wonderful energy that enjoy themselves on stage. It's contagious even just watching on a screen. I know the focus is on the girls and Andy and well deserved, but I just love the guys at the bottom end! What a foundation to build your musical castle on!

Phenomenal song! I love all the peaks and trough, and particularly on the first listen the piano features in the middle. Kind of reminded me of Steven Wilson/ Porcupine Tree, and Magenta. I'll be keeping you on my radar!

I am 71 and you reach a point in life where you re-appraise things, in a way that happened to Solstice I did like them but always went back to the Magenta and Karnataka’s without going back to listen to Solstice material and now think what did I miss out on, thanks to Barry on The Classic Album youtube channel. They are superb, the vocal harmony is brilliant, the playing by all the band is superb. The lyrics are great and the music is not one dimensional, their tracks have so much light and shade. Now to buy their back material. So delighted I found them (again).

My goodness, RETURN TO CROPREDY is shockingly good! Where to start? My recently purchased vinyl album sounds superb in every way: the production allows the performances from every member of the band to be heard clearly. The bass (Robin) & drums (Peter & Clive) have weight and power and the performances are so tight and vibrant. Steven's keyboards seem to pan/dance gently and beautifully in songs like "Shout" giving me an even deeper appreciation of his work. Jenny's fiddle playing is totally gorgeous & energized. The vocals of Jess, Ebony, and Dyane are a real highlight. They really do help elevate Solstice to a special place for me. Andy, your guitar playing (and songwriting) ranges from progressive to funky to ethereal. I can truly "feel" it - the emotion coming through your playing. Whoa! Whoa! The vinyl, by the way, is super quiet and the album packaging is, again, generous and beautifully created. Well done Solstice!

Living in Australia it's a bit harder for me to get to see Solstice live, so I'm delighted to be able to buy this Blu-Ray. One day I'll make the pilgrimage and hopefully take in gigs by Solstice and Big Big Train on the same trip.

I hope to see Solstice live some day. Love their posted live videos. I just can't stop playing SIA and received RETURN TO CROPREDY today. I'll need to merge my travels across The Pond from Halifax, Canada with Solstice's touring schedule next year. Question: Will the RETURN TO CROPREDY Blu-ray play in North American players? Can't wait.

Revisiting this after seeing Solstice last Saturday at the Stables. Took a friend who had never heard the band. Another convert! Like me he sees Solstice as joyful - they all radiate such a happy vibe its infectious. Much light needed in an at times too dark world.
