I knew Solstice back in the late 80s, both personally - and musically. This most recent incarnation is something special. Musically, they were always fabulous - but now visually too, it's all coming together. Outfront - Jess and the other two vocalists (Gwen and Ebony) always look like they're having the time of their lives. This really adds to the whole on-stage vibe. It's an intoxicating mix. Just add a great rhythm section, some really fine keyboard moments, heavenly violin and of course.....Andy's stand out guitar solos - and there you have it ....SOLSTICE. A REAL band and a great live experience - Do go check em out if you haven't so far. Better than 95% of the bands you see at Glastonbury. Looking forward to seeing them tonight at The 100 Club and later in the summer.
I hadn't heard Solstice until this year at Winter's End in Chepstow. Completely blew me away, especially A New Day - what an epic! Incredible energy on stage, an absolute joy to watch. Really nice to say hi to you Andy, hope to see the band again real soon.

I am 71 and you reach a point in life where you re-appraise things, in a way that happened to Solstice I did like them but always went back to the Magenta and Karnataka’s without going back to listen to Solstice material and now think what did I miss out on, thanks to Barry on The Classic Album youtube channel. They are superb, the vocal harmony is brilliant, the playing by all the band is superb. The lyrics are great and the music is not one dimensional, their tracks have so much light and shade. Now to buy their back material. So delighted I found them (again).
Just a few songs into this full viewing. Loving it. Everyone in the band must be thrilled and very proud. You guys have developed into a live band that plays with passion, joy, energy, and professionalism. Great connection with the audience. Thanks for posting! I need to get across the pond from Canada to see you in concert one day.
I just discovered you guys in a top fifty albums of 2023 on a heavy metal channel of RUclips. As crazy that sounds 😁 I loved Light Up album and his fresh and vital approach of prog-rock. Keep it up! Cheers from Argentina.

You’re spot on Chris… very slowly but surely. Only a few have dropped out along the way but we keep them there because they helped while they could. Amazing stuff and we simply wouldn’t be where we are without our Guardians. 🙏
