Do u need to recover in between?
its not that you are strong, its that the national champ is not strong at the regional or global level
Yeah we are all not full time professional riders here
@@aaroiseverything in many countries the amateurs are also much better.. but u get my point
@@geeeforce yeah we don't have much competition in Singapore haha
Congratulations 🎉
Congrats, Aaron! Great to get to know you through this event! Ride on! 💪
stupid strong ride aaron lah
You gotta try indieVelo! 🙌🏻💪🏻
Well done Aaron! It was amazing to follow you on your journey throughout series 1 to the finals - the real underdog classics. Even though you didn't win as champion, but you're still the champion in our hearts! See you at the next race!
Yayy thanks for letting me be a part of this!! 🥹🥹
Military grade 💥💥
congrats !🎉🎉
Your persistence is inspiring 🏋🏼♀️🏋🏻♂️
Congratulations man!!! Came in at 2nd place without bib short dang your strong haha, goodluck training for ironman and be safe.

Steady lah, 2nd. Knew you can do it.
Absolutely well done Aaron! It’s been a pleasure to race with you and see you progressing throughout the series. I was completely toast after trying to catch up with Willy on the first climb and had nothing to give afterwards, so sorry I couldn’t work with you and help out 👍
Congratulations! 🎉🎉
Nice work! What TT bike are you looking at getting?
Argon e119 tri plus! Actually im now looking for wheels 💸
@aaroiseverything nice! Good luck picking out wheels, it can be such a rabbit hole to go down!
I feel sorry for your downstair neighbors
me too
Aaroi! I saw your vid a couple days ago and now I booked a flight to SG for November! I plan to do the same route you did here! Thanks for the inspiration
😱 hahaha insane!!
hey aaron, I bought your 2.4km training plan recently, and just did my first interval session of 8x200m the other day. I’m planning to take my IPPT in mid december so I have about 12 weeks instead of 8 weeks like in the training plan. Would you suggest I do 1 interval session a week instead of 2 since I have a longer timeline? So spread out the 2.4km training plan, for example replacing an interval workout with an easy run. So a week would look like 1 easy run, 1 interval workout, 1 long run. Then spreading out the other interval workouts over the weeks Or would you suggest instead of 2 interval workouts, 1 interval workout (according to your plan), and including 1 tempo run during the week? So that would be 1 easy, 1 interval, 1 tempo & 1 long run a week. Thank you!
I would do all easy runs before starting the plan! For 2.4k, u dont need tempo workouts, threshold workouts at most since it's only a 10ish min effort. In fact my plan doesn't have threshold at all.
@@aaroiseverything appreciate the reply! Love the vids, super motivational
220 km I could never 🤯😳 lately I’ve been doing 100 km weekly, could probably do 120 without any problems but more than that would be a struggle I think. I also do two runs in a day very often to make recovery easier. But wow.. 220 km in a week sounds crazy. But I’m sure it would be doable if I didn’t have a full time job 🤔🤔🤔
Good stuff… you had a plan and stuck with it! 🍻
beast
Hi have u recovered??
Haha the finals was yesterday 🏅
@@aaroiseverything nice bro u need go massage spa to get a full recovery service
great watch! thanks for sharing
Just purchased your plan - love it. Wanted to check if 2.5min rest is necessary for let’s say 200m intervals! Have heard a lot of training programs recommending 1:1 rest time
Oh yeah thats a bit more rest for someone who never ran before
do you always rest 2.5 min between sets?
I bought one of these about 2 weeks ago, and I'm pretty disappointed. I got the Garmin mainly to see if its VO2 reporting was better than the Apple Watch, which has been abysmal. I admit that Garmin's estimates of VO2 are far better than those of Apple, including apps like Athlytic and HealthFit. My problem with this watch is that it keeps losing all or part of my runs. For example, today, I went on a 3-mile run in Zone 2/3 and did some sprint intervals. One mile into the run, an alert came up on the Garmin, and when I hit the back button, it deleted my running data. WTF. Most of the time, I'll get power save announcements I don't want because if I'm trying to maintain Zone 2, I want to see my HR. In short, the UI with the context-dependent buttons is complicated to navigate. The Apple Watch is sooo much more intuitive. So, after this run/intervals, I had 3 sets of data on my iPhone, (1) the entire run/interval on Apple, (2) 2-mile data from the Garmin, and (3) the 8 sprint intervals from the Garmin. FYI, I'm 73 and running at 6400'. The Apple said my VO2 was poor, less than 20. The Garmin interval data said the same thing, crap at 20 or so. The Garmin 2-mile run data said I was superior at 36. I'm just getting back into running after a total knee replacement last February. Decades of running on zero cartilage had destroyed the joint I was born with. That's high school football for you. Anyway, I throw up my hands at guesstimates of VO2 like the Apple system comes up with. I'll get readings in the 30s for a 90-minute strength training in the gym and values in the low 20s for 3-mile cardio. So, granted that the FR935 is better at estimating VO2 than the Apple Watch, I still get burned by how it finds new ways to delete my running data. Maybe after 6 months or so, if I keep the thing, I'll figure it all out.
What kind of warm up did you do before attempting this, 7:42 is blazingly fast
Oh i just ran 5 laps easy and some drills. Couldve done more but my videographer waiting for me

Glad u enjoy watching me suffer 😵💫
how tall are you?
About 170
My bruh really said "not bad for average runner" doing 3:56/km for HM. Bruhhh hahahha
Man you are so hardworking, can't believe you would go straight from a competition to another training session. Always improving!
I am just catching up on your backlog and bro the fact that you did this without prep on a whim was crazy, mad props.
Why 16 * 200 isn't that more than 2.4km?
16 is only 2 laps longer than 2.4km (3.2k total only)
The craziest part of this is you keeping your glasses on while sweating like a waterfall haha
I bought a good pair of glasses 🤓
This guy is so fit it makes me rethink my decision on bodybuilding....like why do i even train to look good when i can barely keep a 6 min pace for a km hahaha but props to you bro!
As some said before, Pogacar changed coach, and he has become a lot stronger this year. Before he has done too much Z2 easy training. I bet he switched to harder interval sessions more regularly, more polarized stuff basically.
I heard the opposite. less polarised and more pyramidal hahah well we will need to wait for gcn to start asking him again hahahah
what power meter do you use for this kind of train? i need advice
favero assioma duo and cyclops powertap. I use both at the same time
Great content. Hope we get to see more brick sessions. Good luck on your half ironman.
Love the chill vibes in the video. Just a small piece of advice in the narration sections, take your time and pace yourself. When you are speaking to the camera when running or after runs it comes across so much more relaxed and natural :)
Okay got it! Thanks ☺️
love it !💪👌
aye that's me in the blue sunnus singlet! love the content - hope to see more running focused ones :D
Hi Aaron, can cadence & speed sensors replace the power meter hub? I'm considering an indoor set-up with a "dummy" turbo trainer.
Not really they dont replace a powermeter
@@aaroiseverything But will they be able to display distance & speed on bike computer?
@@Jothenik nope, only power
@@aaroiseverything I see, thanks!
