    Wow! I’d be sooo happy to have my three little hoyas look like yours ❤️❤️ Question? I have 3 like I said small 2 inch pots and I want to combine mine.. I have one that has a stem like the one you showed.. should I trim it back or leave it until it grows bigger? Also I have 2 that are potted in a moss and pebbles how do I go about removing and potting all together? Remove all the substrate to bare roots and plant? Thank you for your awesome video! You have a new subscriber 🥰

    • @ByBrittanyG
      @ByBrittanyG Месяц назад

      Hi! You could combine them all now and trim once they are combined or trim and wait. Personally I'd combine now and trim to let them get settled. As for removing the moss and pebbles, I'd soak the substrate and then gentle pick it all off from the roots. Then combine into one pot with a fresh substrate :)

    • @ByBrittanyG
      @ByBrittanyG Месяц назад

      I just wing it! lol. Whenever I notice a stem that has a bare node where a leaf should be, I snip that off. Or if I notice that the leaves are a bit smaller than I'd like, I'll trim and adjust the lighting :)

    9:48 may 9th I live in Nebraska and I fell in love with these flowers a couple of years ago when I purchased my home. Long story short do the seeds survive over the winter we have subzero temps at times. If I harvest the seeds in the spring are they good to go or no? Thnks first time seeing you and learned alot and hit that subscribe button 😂

    • @ByBrittanyG
      @ByBrittanyG 2 месяца назад

      Hi! There's always a chance some seeds can drop and overwinter in the ground, but I wouldn't leave them on the plant all winter. I'd harvest in the fall when the pods are ready. That said, if you have seeds to harvest, I'd try to plant them and see what happens! Remember to nick and soak the seeds first!

    Which fertilizer or vitamins do you use for this plant, to get bigger leaves and grow faster please.

    • @ByBrittanyG
      @ByBrittanyG 3 месяца назад

      I didn't use fertilize for years, instead I mixed concentrated Liqui-Dirt into my watering can once a month! I now use Fox Farm Grow Big fertilizer roughly once a month in the spring and summer. The key to fast growth and bigger leaves is plenty of bright indirect light, I'd say.

    mine hates me, it's turning yellow and the leaves are curling yet soil was dry.. I watered it and it only progresses further towards death :( It's in a well draining soil mix but I'm thinking of switching to a cactus soil (with sand)??

    • @ByBrittanyG
      @ByBrittanyG 4 месяца назад

      I find that if I underwater mine, the leaves closest to the base of the soil (the oldest leaves) will yellow and die off. And all of the leaves will curl a bit. I will say that if you're transitioning from winter to spring like I am, this can be a REALLY tricky time of year for houseplants. I find I have to adjust their watering as the days get longer and the temps rise!

      It truly depends. My non-variegated one took forever to bloom and was very large. But my variegated rope plant bloomed when it was only in a 6-inch pot. I have found my hoya bloom times are all over the place.

    The ZZ Raven you don’t have to water this plant much at all. If you’re the type that likes to water your plants then only give this plant 2 tablespoons of water one a week that’s all you need . I made the mistake of watering it and the excess moisture in the soil killed the plant the roots had rotted from the water. This plant is very similar to a cactus plant
