In today’s video, I talk about the custom heat exchanger I installed and the process. I used a Mishimoto MMRAD-HE-03 a man and a few other various parts to make this custom set up. In todays video I show you guys hot to install demon eyes on your car start to finish. I used all products from diode dynamics and re painted some part inside the headlights. If guys have any questions comment below and I’ll do my best to answer.

Just a heads up, I'd swap those brass fittings for aluminum or plastic ones. You dont want to mix metals in a cooling system. Those brass fittings will cause the aluminum in the system to corrode over time.

Did you your bumper need a little bit of heat to get onto the front end? I have a RS5 one and it clips in on one side but the other side is a little low and needs a lot of pressure?
Does it work?
Audi could have put a gasket and some clamps or screws to secure the headlamps. But they had to use glue from hell.
Quoting from a forum I don't believe the B8 seat has a PODS sensor, the C7 does and that will trigger an airbag light. Wonder if you have any updates on that.
Interesting ive seen this described as optimized coolant loop with auxilary radiator delete . You might want to buy the velocityAP crossover coolant pipe upgrade . Are you going to install a divorce reservoir ?

So this video is just on how to assemble the new bumper not how to actually put it on the car. There are sensors and the covers dont fit with the sensors at the same time...

Fr all of them look pink instead of purple
Delete that amber bulb and red rear side marker bulb with VCDS.
Can you explain 1 thing. When filming the P3 gauge your tach redline changes to 4000 rpm. Whats going on there?
You didn’t even plug the paddle wires instead anything. How did they work?
They plug into the back of the control button

A6 also have air suspension from the factory correct? So you got rid and replaced with coils?
I would not Ik it’s some way to lower it
a6 does not have air suspension
They come with standart Suspension like here in the video or you could order them with air Suspension.
How did you get rid of your TPMS fault? Did it have ESC [stabilizer] fault as well. Thanks.

Did you fix the passenger air bag light issue? If so what was the solution thank you.
Haven’t fixed it yet lol it’s just one of those small things I put off for a year😂
I've looked into the mishimoto heat exchangers but didn't see anyone else running it and people told me it would be better just to buy one from merc or 034
Those options are still good and a lot easier to install as they are meant specifically for these cars. Although i raced my friend who has the same car he has a merc hx and 034 stage 1 ecu + tcu, at the time i was only stage 1 034 and the mishimoto and i beat him back to back 4 times and we did a roll from 40 to 140 and i got about 5ish car lengths on him. I’ve also since this video made a few changes and my intake temps never go above 20 to 30 over ambient just normal driving and when I floor it, it will within 5 seconds drop to 5 above ambient
I'll probably end up going with a mishimoto just to be different than everyone else

Did you fix the airbag light?
Finally somebody that says it as it is! I tried to bake my 2017 Audi A3 headlights in the oven for over half an hour at 150 degrees celsius but the glue was still hard as a rock. I even had a hard time with spreader pliers and all these RUclips guys be opening them up like sandwiches with no effort at all lmao
Yeah that Audi headlight glue is no joke. Cutting was the only way lol
Maybe because old headlights use butyl tape. And new ones use something else...
What about using a heat gun?
@@mohlomphehiIt definitely helps but it’s better to have the whole thing heated up evenly so it’s easier to split it open. A combo oven+heat gun should work but you should be careful not to melt the plastic. It happens quicker that you’d think 🥲
I ordered mine, question? They say I need the bumper supports ? That they offer for 450$. Is that true? Or do I just pull my Audi a6 front bumper off and direct replace it with the rs6 bumper I have a 2016 a6 c7.5
You should just be able to remove the old bumper and install the new one unless you have missing or broken parts on your car
Thanks for the video, really helped me out. I just put on a set of Eibach Pro Streets. The one thing I noticed is that I did not have to take out the upper suspension links in the steering knuckle. Was able to remove the strut and install the new coil overs without that step.

Well it don´t matter how long the hot water travels before the heat exchanger. Only thing that is important is the temperature and massflow rate of the water that enters to the supercharger air coolers...
It definitely does something because I raced a friend of mine with the same car he has a heat ex using the factory lines with a stage 1 ecu and tcu tune I had my heat ex set up with only stage 1 ecu and beat him back to back 4 times

They’ve been great I’ve had them in for just over a year and it still rides great no issues
That's not fog light that's for adaptive cruise control
No there definitely fake fog lights adaptive cruise is one single piece in the middle of the bunper
How much weight do you lose ?
Don’t know exactly how much I lose but it’s a lot those rear seats are pretty heavy
Hey I got one question about this when you spun the pump to point the spout towards the passenger side does that spout connect to the bottom of the heat exchanger outlet? would like to be able to talk with you on the phone if that would be possible
The spout on top (the vertical one) is your inlet from the heat exchanger. The one the side (the horizontal one) is your outlet to the supercharger
Is it possible to purchase the DRL module instead of the power module headlight ballast?
Maybe but it’s be hard to find because it’s not a “serviceable” part. You have to pull the lens and completely disassemble the headlight to change them
My suggestion would be either buy a new headlight or find a donor headlight to swap the parts from

Hows the rasp? Is there much or no?
With that set up there was a bit of rasp but I added vibrant baby resonantors and it took care of it
