I honestly wasn’t sure how much silencing I wanted, and was worried about too much pre-travel so I wanted to play it safe and get multiple sizes. Poron ring is closer to pcb so I guess that’s the bottom one? I haven’t bothered trying to switch them up and do different combos since I am happy with how it turned out.

They’re just the stock feet, the color isn’t clear just slightly lighter than the black coat

For mx black it’s an improvement on mx1a, but personally I will still spring swap and lube/film. I didn’t bother cleaning. For mx brown you can use them stock imo.

Hard to tell how it will sound since it depends on your switches and keycaps. You also have options on where to put those plateless contact points. You could always just clip in switches and wait to solder until you find a sound you like. Also can swap the spacebar switch with a long pole if you’re looking for it to sound different.

QMX has much tighter tolerances so they are way easier to tune so that they don’t rattle or tick. Also the wires are fully covered, so it helps with pet hair if you have any furry friends.

@@Jumboloydefelix uhh there is alot of people trying to get one, but searching on mm wont get u anything since they're rlly rare and sought out for. Also if u do find someone with a tgr jane v2 ce they're prob flipping it for thousands of dollars. U prob get better results from a keyboard like f1-8x v2 or a neo 80 they're rlly solid boards. Since a tgr jane v2 ce is a keyboard designed years ago so it wouldn't be as high quality as a keyboard designed and made now. But people still want that board because if u tell a keyboard hobbyist that a board is rare and old they lose their minds.

For sure! This build is more lively sounding but a bit fatiguing to listen to all day

It looks exactly like how prelubed new nixies are. Some switches have excess in the bottom housing, but the lube is thin and easy to clean. I don’t have any noticeable issues with the housings.

Yeah exactly, it came from a super dirty razer board. Bit of a pain to desolder all LEDs and switches. I also cleaned these with an ultrasonic cleaner. Honestly I would recommend getting new mx blues but if you want to have some fun I can’t stop ya!

My favorite click bar switch is probably the nk sherbet. Click jacket is just such a throwback though so I have been appreciating it more lately.
