Ranger's Dina Wakley Art Journals Discontinued - WHAT NOW??
Hi everyone! In this video I'm talking about the alternatives for my very favourite art journal from Dina Wakley (Ranger) which is out of production and isn't available anymore. The best thing about this book is that it contains various sorts of paper and there's no other book (as far as I know) giving this wonderful experience. In the video I mention 5 alternative books you could purchase that seem good alternatives for me. Maybe this isn't complete, so please share what you know to help each other!

Wat leuk om te horen! Ik denk al een tijdje na over een boek met mijn favoriete art journal pagina's. Het moet nog even een vorm vinden. Ook omdat ik heel gelaagd werk, is de vraag of het dan goed overkomt. Maar heel leuk dat je het zou willen kopen als het er was!

So nice you've been watching another video! Yes, I always thought I was car sick, but that was just when I tried to read a map or when I searched something on my cell phone.... but not when making art! It was a great discovery! Now, we have our cat with us, taking the backseat (that is next to the table)... this makes it a challenge, because I love to work with a table. Luckily there are still some things I can do at the front seat.

The lion's story is very nice. I'm working on several journals; 365 day bible verse collage cards, paper dolls blending into the art of master artists (I would like to do some doors and windows with these.) Kind of different. Too many ideas. God bless

I enjoy using cut outs in my journals. Not as creatively as yours. 😂 I sometimes incorporate window envelopes for this purpose. If you decide to create your own art journal, I hope you will bring us along to watch. 💖💖💖

Beautiful journal pages, Luz! Thank you for sharing! 🥰I like to use Gamblin cold wax medium on top of my pages once they're finished. It keeps them from sticking. Just rub a little on them with a cloth, polish and voila! It works!😃

Symbool van de retraite is de "waslijn", zo simpel, maar zo veelzeggend. Geweldig! Prachtige weergave van jullie Franse vakantie, met al de ingebrachte items uit de verschillende plekken. Mooie compositie jouw artjournal op de tafel met alle bloemen eromheen. De popup gezichten vind ik ook top geworden! Er is zoveel moois te zien: de bloemen, vlinders, kleuren zo gevarieerd en kunstzinnig weergegeven, bedankt voor dit inkijkje
Dank je weer voor je leuke reactie, Sonja! De hele gelli print workshop was een soort van spontaan ontstaan, en op dezelfde manier ontstond de waslijn. Gewoon het lijntje met knijperzakje uit de camper gehaald en in Febes atelier opgehangen. Ik vond het ook heel leuk om het zo te zien wapperen, daarom wilde ik het op mijn atelierpagina!

Mooie impressie Marloes en ik geniet weer van al je mooie pagina's met Lavendel. Zo leuk dat Parel ook rondloopt daar ❤
Heeey leuk dat je een beetje met ons meegereisd hebt.. We zijn bijna thuis en ik ben geneigd om Parel vast te binden; ze is zo vrij als een vogel.. zodra de deur van de camper open gaat, wil ze de omgeving verkennen. Gelukkig komt ze wel als we haar lokken met snoepjes…Tot snel!
Wat een bijzonder fraaie pagina's en wat een mooi idee om de vlinder een 2e leven te geven in je artjournal. De lavendel velden heb prachtig geschilderd. Mijn favoriete pagina is die met de blauwe vlinder en degene met de bloemen. Dankjewel voor het delen van jullie week. Oh en geef Parel nog een extra knuffel, zo schattig als ze even in beeld komt.
Heeey wat leuk om weer van je te horen! Het was een heerlijke tijd daar! Inmiddels zijn we alweer in Duitsland. Parel banjert ergens rond de camper, maar als ze terug is geven we haar een knuffel!

I find it lovely how your soul comes through in your art. So sweet. My biggest struggle is symmetry when I sketch faces. I never feel like it's what I had in mind. I would like to improve. God bless P.S. thank you for sharing about the netting. All I can find is plastic. 🐈⬛
Thank you so much! I think I couldn't do it any other way... Symmetry in faces is something difficult... but if you look at faces in real life, they're never exactly symmetric. Nevertheless, keep on trying and exercising and you will get better and better.
