How long did the leakage last where you needed to use the gauze pads. I’m over a month post op and still have leakage and I use the gauze pads every day 24/7

I’m thinking about doing this later in April. I start police academy the beginning of June. Do you think I will be pain free and mostly recovered by the time I start academy. Obviously I’d be doing extreme workouts while in academy? Should I wait a year to get this done or just do it before academy? I know each person varies but from your personal experience if you would have been in my shoes and had academy around that time frame afterwards do you think you would have been able to handle it?

Im 37 y o chronic anal fissure diagnostic 2 months ago that left a skin tag, 1 hemorrhoid band ligation that left a skin tag 3 years ago, been deeling with constipation since 34 y o, got my laxatives, vaseline oil, mirakax, bysacodil, situation got worse during a long trip far from home Dr wants to resolve fissure, skin tags and use thd hal pricedure for hemorrhoids Dr said better find a solution from now till one year before things can get worse later on Fissure dosent hurt ocasionally red drop I sometimes blame myself for old diet habits Came out of a strict diet a little bit during a long trip and got worse Drs and people dont blame me that much for diet habits I know cases if people that can eat everything and nothing ever happens to them Gotta take a long plane back to my native city so I dont resolve things in my own in a foreign country where i dont have relatives or friends that can help me Looks like a nightmare Mom had hemorrhoidectomy in her 20s Used to have a bit of overweigh sometimes during my youngster years My youngster me could deal with any kinds of foods, now im afraid of getting out of natural foods Plenty if orange juice olive oil and yoghurt are good etc Found out the worst things are, bread, alcohol, cheese, corn chios, dried nuts, soft drinks, fried foods

Hi sir I was a 22 year old i have hemoroids surgery march 2nd this is 18th day pain less but my stool is hard first and smooth next ...i have still mild bleeding doctor say it is common but daily with bowling time some mild blood is coming..this is normal or not pain is less bit bleeding mildly

I had a Fissurectomy in October and it’s January I still feel Pain and I dont know if I teared myself

I have anywhere from 2 to 4 BMs a day after surgery

I’m a 25-year-old young man just had my surgery on January 3, 2024. Currently on day 7. DAY6 I thought would be my turning point for D7 was a little bit rough expect to have a BM on day 8. I’ve been incorporating once a protein in my diet as well as using store softeners but grass fed beef with lots of vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes and lots of fruit smoothies. Just took an ice bath it wasn’t pleasant but it’s soothing.

Hey Chris, I've got another question as I am highly considering LIS in the next month or two. Do you feel any discomfort today e.g. when sitting or doing exercise? Discomfort as in itching, pinching or burning. If not, how long dod those symptoms last for if you had them at all. Thanks again brother.

Hey Chris, question about sitz baths. Do you clean your bath out every time you use it? I live with 2 family members so I'm a bit cautious. Also, do you use anything in the bath or just warm-hot water? I know its been a long time but I hope you've got the time to reply. Many thanks from England :)

This is so fuq’d I’m on day 7 and am dying. Constant pain 4-6. Was doing okay yesterday until I pooped a 3 inch thick log that my body forced out. I wasn’t even in control my body just made me do it. I was trembling and everything.

I asked if he would do the hemroidsm seeing as he was up there anyways. So he did.

The best thing to do is cleanse your bowels (same colon cleanse you take for a colonoscopy) Because everything you ate prior to surgery has to come out. after surgery eat light such as apples, pears, prunes, assorted dried fruits and drink bone broth and lots of water. You won't get constipated even if you take the pain pills as long as you eat light for as least 3 weeks it will save you from serious pain. Always take your stool softener always...this surgery is worse than having a baby. Lidocaine and itching cream by the 3rd week and lots of bed pads. Use an antibacterial soap to wash that area. ..

Just got diagnosed with anal fissure yesterday she just did a simple peeka boo gave me some kind if rare cream in follow up in two weeks but the pain is still there this has been a really slow painful process

I passed the gauze post op day 1 that was painful. Had my first BM day 4 and holy hell that was real pain. Even with fiber and stool softener I had to strain to go. I’m not trying to take the narcotic pain meds to help poop easier. This sucks and regret this surgery. My dr did NOT explain about how painful this was going to be. I wasn’t haven’t much issues except blood when wiping. No pain. Shouldn’t done this surgery. Hate it so much
