Великобритания
Добавлен 29 июл 2017
Welcome to The Salt Box, a celebration of seasonal food and open-fire cookery through the coming together of people beneath the trees, creating delicious food from nature’s humble ingredients. We celebrate locally sourced and wild ingredients through our wide range of courses and dining events, in the great outdoors surrounded by crackling fires.
Founded in 2016, we curate unforgettable feasts cooked over an open fire, through our range of dining events and cookery courses. Our events are primarily hosted in the great outdoors or in our cosy barn here at our home on the Priory Farm Estate in South Nutfield. Occasionally, we also pop-up at our favourite locations in and around the South East of England.

Hello after the soaking in vinegar do we drain it out or leave them in thankyoyu and how long is the shelve life
Left them in the vinegar until they are all gone!
Commenting here cause they’re disabled on the cordial video If your lemons aren’t organic you should remove the wax before zesting Looks like you do lots of bottling I’d invest in an auto syphon and bottling wand. Especially if you make wine/beer etc
I have them now in a jar as you suggested with the salt it has been 24 hours. There is now condensation in the jar is this normal?
Absolutely, the salt starts drawing out the moisture from the seeds almost instantly. Just make sure to shake the jar daily to redistribute the salt.
Do you drain any liquid that appears over the time they are salting or do you leave the liquid out
Are you draining the excess liquid the salt draws from it away or keeping it until the 3 weeks is over
Jason Reeves, no need to drain off any of the liquid that draws out. We will post another video for the next step this week 👍
