Brings back memories. I bought a brand new one in late 1975 when I was in my 2nd last year of high school. Mine was black with the white binding. Sadly, I never got your sounds out of mine. Back then you couldn't just Google information, so I actually had no idea what the bottom 3-way switch did. My first amp was a local made solid-state head with a quad cab. In hindsight, and due to a complete lack of experience, I never did get the opportunity to get the best sound out of my Swede before I eventually traded it almost a decade later. 😢

Firstly, thanks for a great video. Secondly, would i be right in believing theres lots more mids and a softer high end, especially on the unwound strings by comparison to the BB2? Either way, they're excellent, as is your soloing, Matt. Bravo.

What do you have in the neck? What do you like to pair with the SH-5? I'm looking to put a Custom in the bridge of my singlecut, but not sure I like the 59 in the neck. It's nice, but I kinda like the Dimarzio 36th Anniv PAF more. I'm also looking at the Duncan Alnico Pro II.
