I have some Atari games in boxes of that size.

Diablo 1 + Hellfire was the last game that I skipped sleep for. It was 1997, I was in my first job and quite busy, but Diablo 1 had that really simple but effective, one more good item, one more level hook. I actually disliked Diablo 2 when it came out, it felt convoluted in comparison. And the savepoint system meant I could not play it is small chunks at a time, like half an hour after i came from work and got tired.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R games of old are on sale on my favourite platform GOG and now I apparently own them after dishing out 7ish pounds! I thought I should research the old before diving into the new :)

Bleem! What Sony really expect of me that I purchased a Playstation just to play Grand Turismo? I ordered mine by mail and received just a jewel box. I don't remember it was a bad experience playing on my machine, but I can't remember if I had already upgraded to the Slot-A Athlon or still had the Pentium II. 😅

when a heatpump(basically a reverse airconditioner) operates near or below freezing temperatures it needs to defrost regularly to be able to continue extracting heat from from the outside air. Technology Connections has very good videos about heatpumps and many other things.

Cool! I enjoyed Amstrad Addict or "Amstrad Action in Witness Protection" as I call it. The Atari Addict magazine looks like something I will be grabbing too. I hope that they will continue to offer these special additions every now and then 🙂

The Sega CD SMB port name I'm pretty sure is also a reference to an old parody fan game called Supra Mayro Bross and its sequel Supra Mayro Kratt. Both are classics imo.

I didn't notice the problem because your rambles are a podcast to me. I listen it while working on my construction site and I check the screen rarely.

A bunch of burner accounts have been trying to tie the Mister Pi to Retroid, using doxxing and seemingly falsified documents. Mods have been banning/removing the stuff so its hard to trace. Pure guesswork who the “competitor” Taki is talking about because the accounts don’t make it obvious.

I was briefly worried there that one of the Windows 7 party pack items was a themed version of Twister. Also, with the theming of Windows 7, I always got some kind of gardening product catalogue vibe, probably due to the extensive use of green, leading me to expect to see lawn furniture and mowers at any moment.

Interesting behind the scenes Ramble :) I will be honest I have not noticed the lag/lip-sync issue, and normally "watch" your rambles on RUclips, but as they are podcast style I will be honest they are normally playing on tab in the background until I hear you say you are showing something so I would not notice
