No, your eyes don’t deceive you - I did indeed originally manage to mess up the release schedule and put this public a whole day early. Congrats to the chosen few who managed to catch it before I realised my mistake! I hope you also realised and remembered to go to work 😂
I'm Excited for Crazy Taxi. I was in my Teens when it was First Released, Dreamcast Release was Amazing! I hope then dont screw it up and make it a Freemium game
Sports Direct: a colleague where I used to work bought some jogging bottoms from them. When he got them out at home they had a skid mark in them! He took them back and was accused of putting the skid mark in himself. I'll add that he was very particular about cleanliness so his experience must have been an even worse nightmare.
Same for me with Burnout Paradise; by the time I could get to something I could actually play in the game, I was already turned off. So many menus! A login! Rules! Internet strangers! I just didn't even want to know after that.
I played Hercules at the Northwest Pinball and Arcade Show last month and didn't care for it. As mentioned, it's a much slower game and the paddles feel like they're gently pushing the ball rather than striking it. The table I played on seemed to be using a cue ball for the pinball! Worth playing Hercules to say you've done it but after that there's far better pinball machines to play. Atari also made an oversized but not giant size Superman pinball machine. It's extra wide but uses standard size pinball, paddles, etc. Gameplay on that is a little slower as there's more travel distance but I recommend giving that a try just for the 1970s Superman comic book artwork.
Due to being in Central Asia, I actually watched this on Friday anyway. Regarding the new Crazy Taxi I'm afraid I fully expect it to be a cross between Crazy Taxi and Fortnite, complete with millions of microtransaction options to buy characters, clothing, vehicles, vehicle parts, custom paintwork and so on, alongside the usual game modes of Battle Royale, Capture the Flag and so on. It won't be terrible, but it also won't really be Crazy Taxi either.
It was kind of a surprise that P4 could run that well Windows 10 it 11, even with default VGA driver, that was weird. I think I never tried running 10 on any old machine. It was quite entertaining, nice job on recording the poor IDE HDD sounds. 😅
Since Tengen was Atari Games’s console/computer division, I don’t think current Atari really cares since Time Warner would still own any of the game IPs.
A real shame about GAME's demise. I personally had great experiences with them, and bought so many consoles on day of release. Having a Gamestation in town kept them honest and could get some amazing deals.. Gran turismo 4 for something like £4.99 when trading in 4 games. Run down to Gamestation, buy 4 games for a £10, job done. Once our GAME moved into a Sports Direct store my association with them ended.
Indeed, I don't think the brand will be around much longer. Stopping trade-in etc was nuts - they have basically handed the whole second hand games and consoles etc market to CeX, who must be delighted.
Agreed with the sentiment about Burnout paradise. Loved the series but I really didn’t get into paradise. Still don’t like the format in the Forza series.

The Tengen info is interesting news, haven't heard it before. Looking forward to what might come out of that. Cheers!
Thursday's the new Friday!
The weekend starts here!
Haha... Seems my trip away really messed up my schedule!

That pinball machine is nuts.
I’d be interested in seeing a video about that pinball museum please.
Time turns, the fire burns, and that is one heck of a big pinball table!

On hearing "it's very large, and lengthy too", I thought I was watching a Mark Fixes Stuff video; and then he goes and turns up in it anyway.
I like to squeeze Mark in every opportunity I get
I once installed Windows 95a on a 386SX 16Mhz with 4MB RAM. It was not usable.

Haha, the reason you watched it early is because I messed up the release schedule this week. You're one of the chosen few! 😅
It won't be AAA without the initial Offsprings blast of YA YA YA YA YAA
Rees, Rees, Rees, wrong Simon, twas I that gifted the Kazoos 🤪

Are you TheGebs24's brother? You have exactly the same iteration! Interesting! 🤔

Ah yes, I always forget about Forza! I haven't played any since the original.
