Golf can be a sport that you can play throughout the lifespan! However, a lot of golfers get frustrated with lack of mobility/flexibility, lack of distance, and just lack of ability to walk 18 holes or play an entire round of golf without something bothering them or feeling tired. rescue 3. i eagled a par 5 out of the woods with it. horrible drive. i hit a monster 170 yard slice (activated early rotation and cocked my wrist up and delayed my released). rolled right up to the hole and i putted out for eagle. another time i was on a horrible hill and the ball was so high up it was virtually teed up like a baseball. i crushed it with the rescue 3, dead straight where i was aiming. no idea how i managed that, just tried to remember the fundamentals.
Thanks for sharing! Some of the rescue clubs are so forgiving and can be used in so many different scenarios it’s a great club to have in the bag!

I’m right there with you. For some reason I hit that daiwa so well and I’ve had it for 20+ years. Just can’t upgrade from it!
Looks a good shoe for stability I’m wearer spikeless shoe so going to spikes may get me up at least 2-3 mph clubhead speed hopefully
There is some research that shows spiked shoes do help with ground reaction forces which ultimately helps with creating club head speed so I definitely think it can be the low hanging fruit if trying to gain speed amongst other things! Let me know if you have any other questions!
So basically, don't watch a RUclips video go see a professional. I think people finding this video know it is golf, and know they are doing something wrong and want to confirm it's their swing action.
I think to be clear, while seeing a professional could be helpful, that professional needs to know the mechanics and physical traits/aspects of the golf swing. This video was intended to highlight the why behind your pain and understand some of the mechanical issues golfers struggle with in their swing that could contribute to their pain. Pain is multifactorial and usually not just one thing is causing it, so we always try and be comprehensive in discussing the why behind pain and what you should do about it. It could be your swing mechanics, but swing mechanics are only a piece of the puzzle in understanding why the pain is there in the first place. It could be a mobility issue, strength issue, endurance issue, or to your point, a swing mechanics issue. Our point is to find the root source first before just treating something.
Yeah for me it was a combination of way too much driving range time when they made us use mats for a whole year, heavy power lifting and getting older. I actually had it bad in both elbows, so I took a full year off from golf and working out and it never really improved. I said screw it, probably just going to need surgery anyway, so I went back to working out again, this time with a focus on forearm strength and it started getting better. I agree with everything you said, good stuff.
Sometimes you need to do the thing that is going to help directly affect and change the condition and strengthening for the majority of soft tissue/tendon related issues, with the right dosage, can be extremely effective. Great video doc. Please breakdown the number of sets and exercises that we should do every session. Can these be done at the end of a strength training session ?
I would recommend power work to be done before strength work as we want power work to be max effort and ensure form doesn’t break down as it potentially might towards the end of a training session! Generally speaking we recommend 2-4 sets of 3-5 reps for power work!

People golf is not a sport. It's relaxation after you've done some strenuous athletic activity. It's the cool down period after you've worked out. If golf is all you do, though, it's God's way of telling you you should be dead.
Will just the swing trainer bag and all that includes give you a great workout at home, or should you also have a gym membership for use of dumbbells, benches etc?
I think it really depends on what you want to do and what your intentions are for your workouts. The resistance bands, the trainer, and the handles, in addition to the app that comes with it, has enough workouts in there that utilizes what comes in the bag that can be challenging for even more experienced people who train. I still think having some access to med balls and other traditional equipment never hurts but again if you're crunched for time or don't have a lot of space, you can get a lot done with the Swing Trainer.

The bar is 44.5 inches so as long as your suitcase is that long you should be able to fit it in! I’ve been able to bring it with me without much issue!

You could that’s true! The intent of combining them allows for more stretch of the arm that’s holding the weight creating more stability requirements as you rotate towards the ceiling 👍
