I’m making the Braidy Loops Cardigan. You had so many projects to cover on this episode. You’ve been so busy!! If you still have your American library card number from your old home town I recommend that you see if they have a digital library you can borrow audiobooks from. That is how I read a book a week while ALSO KNITTING!! 🎉 I’m excited to follow along on your knitting adventure. Your book club cardigan is a dream.

I love your book club cardigan, it is one i have been looking at for a while. I am not an experienced cable knitter so I am a bit undecided but yours is inspiring. I am currently reading One Dark Window and really enjoying it, so glad to hear the 2nd book is a win.

I just did a color theory test with chat GPT a few weeks ago! I found some videos online on how tot do it, and it says I'm a light spring, which matches with the colors that suit me best. It definitly helps with picking yarn for projects now and just gave more clarity overall. Maybe a Ferns & Feathers sweater would fit with your Sewrella yarn, but I have no idea how much you need for that. Loved this video!

It’s a beautiful sweater but not for me but I will enjoy seeing everyone’s progress a long the way. I’m a shawl knitter and plan on knitting a cardigan this fall. Great seeing you.

The Lumme is so beautiful! And I could totally see you as a soft autumn. I don’t knot where in Australia you’re located, but if you have the opportunity you should book an appointment with Colour analysis studio in Melbourne. I got mine done by them (virtually, since I’m located in Norway), and I just looove their aproach. It completely changed how I plan my knitting projects, and I’m so much more happy with the results from my knitting now.

Bummer, I still have a cardigan project to finish, only 1/3 through. I have the yarn and pattern all ready for this but can’t commit to a knit a long.

I have never joined a real KAL before where you actually communicate with other people. My introverted self if is hesitant but… I have been wanting to knit the salty days since it came out, so I guess this will be the perfect time to join in. 🐚 @shannieswanson

this came at a super convenient time- im currently working on my second salty days sweater! the first one i knit turned out to be sized a lot closer to my partner’s dimensions, so that ended up being a surprise birthday gift. i cast the second one on a week ago with lion brand wool ease in the color koi, i am determined for redemption! excited to participate in this KAL!! :))

This KAL sounds like fun! I have some Drops Belle. I’m not sure if it will work for this sweater but I’ll do a gauge swatch and see.

I'm waiting on a copy of Knit This! to come in the mail, but it would be fun to join a KAL for Salty Days before I get into any of the book patterns. Recently found your channel, I think from knitcheek’s podcast? I was so excited to find a fellow young mom who is just as obsessed with knitting! I actually casted on the salty days sweater back in April right after my son was born and I’m still working on it. I’m making it in drops daisy and drops kid silk mohair in an icy lavender and I’m loving it!

Ohhh I love this! I've been wanting to knit a sweater like that since finding your channel (which I love btw! its so relaxing to listen to at the end of the day). I'm so tempted to join, I'm very much still a beginner though.

I ordered both knitting for Olive heavy merino in limestone and their regular merino in unicorn purple paired with ballerina pink soft silk mohair. I have a feeling though that I will be using the heavy merino for the KAL.
