Off Grid Amy717
Добавлен 30 ноя 2019
Off Grid living on a budget. I know every person has an idea of what off grid living is. The most basic definition is not being connected to utilities. For some its providing all your needs yourself. Many off grid channels seem like "life styles of the rich and off grid" . That is not me at all. I don't have the ideal setup in a perfect location. I have what i could afford. In an area not far from my work and home. I spend most of my time off here. Feel free to suscribe. Grow with me. Learn with me . Educate me. I only bought my cabin in 2018. Prior i had seasonal sites in campgrounds. Thank you for checking out my channel.

I did this video to early in the morning. Guess it was bugging me and I had to get it out.
Yummmm .... Approx how many pieces does the 1 cup of flour make? Easy recipe, that's for sure. Also, nice to have a well seasoned skillet to finish it off. As to moisture, when I make fried cornpone, I want the most moisture I can get and still have the cornmeal barely cling together. Makes a tasty thin, with crispy edges, bread. Had a relative who used to fry cornbread. Her batter was DRY. She made it so thick that the center tasted raw, while the outer portion was almost burnt. With my method, even mixes of nothing but water and fine ground meal, make a tasty bread when spread so thin, in the skillet. Suspect yours would be similar. Tasty! Have you tried flatbread with self- rising flour, w/without sugar? Would it work? I'm hungry after seeing your bread. Sure wishing I had some along with a little room temp butter. 🙂 Thanks for sharing. God Bless.

That does seem great for a pizza base, or flat bread. I'm big on breads, a lot of times while in National Forest I'll be long term camping & run out of bread. So, I always have Bisquick on hand in half gallon jars. Would depend on the meals, but with vegetable soups, or chilli, I'll take half & half of Bisquick and half a Jiffy Cornmeal Mix, add a egg , use water, or milk, mix it up & skillet fry it using salted butter. Either way made, I don't do without my skillet bread. Van Dwelling, I try simplifying everything. Crazy, but I hate not having some sort of bread with certain foods.

@offgridamy717 I agree 💯 percent 👍, I respect, I can be social, but I basically choose to be a loner myself. We all have done things in life & come short of God's Glory. @MitchellTickle1962 this building was here. The last owner started converting the 2 story shed then died. I'd say it was 1/5 finished. Much of the work was poorly done. I do yearly reviews so progress can be seen. Any other structures were done by my son and I. Last year I built 3 equipment storage areas. I saved the roofs for my son lol.
