I completely understand that you say; I don't care, but I desperately hope & pray that 2025 can actually bring some sensible changes to what we'd endured past four year's. Actually I agree, much is out of control, but walking in faith & not by sight will help, steadfastly praying & looking up to receive that blessed Hope.

As far as politics I now view the 2 party system as a single party con job. This country and citizens are in a state of affairs. I also am a "trans" with great shame and remorse for things I have done in life. The solitude here is cleansing.

I've lived Off-Grid several times, twice in TN and once in Arkansas. I'm currently looking for owner finance land to establish a dwelling. My son passed away Dec. 11th, 2024 he would have been 40 on December 25th. Well said! I've experienced the days of going to bed with nothing but a screen door hook separating us from the world around us. Summer in the south, without AC, was too hot to sleep with windows and doors closed. Screen wire was all that was between my bed and the wild life on the other side. Both 2 legged, 4 legged, 8 legged and beyond. All we have to do is remember King Nebuchadnezzar to understand who controls the rise and fall of those in power. Then, remember Ephesians 6:10-18 to know what we're supposed to do regardless of which king is occupying the throne. hat said, I'm thinking about what about are the equivalents of trying to keep critters out of the garden (deer love green beans the day before a planned big canning session of same) or propping up limbs of over burdened apple trees just before harvest. Which/what is more important to care about - something far away or what's in our backyard? And .... being thankful for the turnip greens, Hoppin John seasoned with cured pork and fried corn pone that we finished up the leftovers today. Sure was good .... That I care about. God Bless.
@@oldtimerlee8820 good message. I use solar powered little lights for garden. I madexa video a year or so ago. Critters don't like blinking lights at all.
Hope you have a good community out there. I had to move to the south because of the rising cost of electricity and taxes. I miss the community of our small village and my church. and my family spread out across the country and world. , and organizations like scouts and the local library. Of course I like not having to drive 25 miles or more to get to the grocery store and doctors or to get things for the gardens. Of course now I am down here the electricity and taxes are high and getting higher,but I traded 3 feet of snow and icy roads for hurricanes and tornados. No where is perfect unless you are a billionare who can move from one place to another right away and doesn't worry about cost.
@@deborahscranton9279 I have a few "loan wolfs" here. When things need done community seems to take care of things well. I wish neighbors were more connected on a personal level. With that said I see no conflicts. As a trans I was told I'd be killed and vanish in the woods. I actually introduced myself to all my neighbors bearing gifts of great BANG... most of us are older to here. It's really tough to judge an untested community. I would hope we stand shoulder to shoulder in the face of adversities. Together we stand alone we fall one by one.
I agree totally with most of what you said except I do think that God cares that we care because it gives us an opportunity to pray 🙏 for ones that don't see the bigger picture.
@@AlmostOffGridGrandma here's the deal and it will be a theme in 2025... the I don't care is meant for things I have no control over that some use to fear monger. I did add some things we do need to care about that many don't. It's impossible to have a good heart and not care about things. In turn I will not be controled by fear . I just don't care. Lol. It's important to keep priorities str8.
