@@guttervacuumsystemsltd4091 yes plugged directly into the mains with the three pin plug provided , with all three motors working it melted the plugs the total of all three motors running is a fair amount of wattage to be running on a normal ring main, it draws far to much power hence melting plugs

@@alistairparker7171 the ring main is fine on all three motors. Were you perhaps plugging into a spur? (Extension/conservatory/garage etc). Perhaps your power cable was damaged or the pins of the plug contaminated. Various reasons why you were having issues but had you sent the head in to us on a head service we could identified the issue you were having. We provide a years’s manufacturing warranty and ongoing back up and support so even well after your first 12m the head can still come in to us if need be. Head service booked via our website.

The GVS filter is predominantly a dry use filter but it is a filter that can get wet. It must be fully dry for dry use. If you find you have a loss of suction performance, hose the sludge off the filter and continue. If there is a high quantity of water in the gutters you could remove the filter and the float valve will continue to do its job. Ensuring there is no muck around the float valve which could prohibit its job and therefore risk motor damage. The quick release clamps we provide for the aerospace aluminium should always be used. We introduced these to the industry many years ago having initially used nut spinners & jubilee clamps. The quick release clamps are there to prevent your poles from spinning, coming apart and from shunting. We advise they are used.

The wet filter can be rinsed under a hose/tap and air dried. The HEPA can be brushed with a stiff brush or washed with a mild detergent with tepid water under a gentle flow and should be fully dry for dry use.

Indeed they can, for our clamped carbon fibre poles we have the Combi-connector tool which inserts into the clamped pole. Using the clamped carbon gutter vacuum poles adds more rigidity than telescopic poles which is a major advantage when scraping roofs with more stubborn wet moss. Watch out for a new video coming soon where we show exactly this with our poles in action.

If you were vacuuming internal dust or very dry dusty debris from the gutters you would only require the hepa on with that held in place with the wingnut.

We have personally used this and have sold many GVS 3000 and GVS 3600s over the years to a large range of exterior cleaning businesses and more here in the UK and indeed abroad. We're sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with a system where you are based. Here in the UK the British climate encourages a lot of wet vegetation and so gutter guards are not an ideal preventative measure against the damage blocked gutters can cause as they tend to harbour debris. These systems therefore are there to help keep feet safe on the floor as much as possible whilst clearing the gutters annually or biannually. If you have any questions on any of our equipment please do not hesitate to contact us.

@@fortnightlygardenmaintenan8987 The machine used here was the GVS when it was later converted from the 38mm front entry to the 51mm cyclonic entry. I have been using gutter vacs for 13 years, they are brilliant, yes you still have to get the ladders out on occasion but 90% of my work is done by vacs.

@@guttervacuumsystemsltd4091 I bought it from a guy who never used it. So its second hand.( But new). The machine it's self is good. But the trolley is terrible.

@@darrenbarker2529 If you would like replacement castors you do need to contact us directly via email so that we can arrange for those parts to be sent out. Again photos of the trolley you have will be advantageous as the castors are very different in size between the two. Alternatively if you would like to upgrade to the two handled trolley we can also arrange for that also as it is an option for our Predator owners who have the previous one bar trolley. We would need your details for either option on our system to move forward for you.
