  • Is it important to assemble your push fit taper carbon or your aerospace aluminium, the right way around? Absolutely.
If the poles are assembled incorrectly then this will undoubtedly cause you problems on-site in time.
This helpful quick video is here as a gentle reminder to help you or your staff.
Don’t forget the following basics too in your pole assembly and maintenance:
    • Never assemble carbon when wet.
    • Carbon - keep ends free of grit and spray with a dry lubricant such as WD40 Dry PTFE
    • Keep aluminium ends free of grit and spray with a lubricant such as WD40
    • ALWAYS build to a height you are comfortable with on the ground and for those higher clears, build up against a corner or against a wall for the required height reach.
On wet gutters at the end of your task, vacuum a bucket of water to flush the build up of residue inside your poles. On larger clears, you may need to do this more often.
REMEMBER ⬇️ Taper down towards the ground ⬇️ 👍🏼
