@@mgmaier75 This Gladiator IS equipped with the factory Alpine sub. The Hideaway fits right next to it. It definitely over powers the factory sub.

@@WOATjohn Hello- Yes you can, however adding the connectors for the aftermarket radio will require cutting the current harness and butt splicing the RCA connector to the end.

@@jlang8213 These Kicker speakers are wanting and thriving for aftermarket power. The KS particularly are designed to perform with much more power than the factory system can provide.

@@jlang8213 You’re very welcome. Glad that you asked, you can select the speakers marked for the factory amplified system. Be sure not to connect the teeter in the pod prior to installing the amplifier. You can install the speaker pods and leave that tweeter connection not attached until the amp is installed. Installing prior to will cause power issues with the radio.

@@FiremanGMC Does the Alpine head unit have a reverse camera also? Is that what you mean? This video covers the front cam and dash camera installation. A backup camera can be added as well.

Yes, I was originally going to go with the Sony 4k or 6K w backup camera, but saw a TikTok about dash cams. As I wasn’t sure if you cld have all 4 cameras in one head unit, ie front/reverse cam & dash/rear recording cams.

@@FiremanGMC That is correct, the iLX-507 will support the Alpine front, Alpine dash, and Alpine rear camera.

@@kbodyshopable We did not and typically do not for this type of application, however you certainly can if you prefer it. The PAC module does come with its own knob so the bundle will include one.

We currently have a 10” Kicker tailgate sub option, we’re about to release our 10” Alpine R Series tailgate option, AND we have a 12” Alpine R Series tailgate enclosure coming soon! @@johnmassoud1733 We run the full Alpine system in our shop Braptor if that says anything, 😁. We installed our full B&O bypass system with the Alpine V90 amp and Alpine R Series 12” down firing sub. Just an FYI- we’re about to release our tailgate enclosure with a 10” Alpine R series sub and we have a 12” tailgate enclosure in the works!

@@Seasonspass33 Yes, the subwoofer rests under the passenger seat so the passenger will certainly feel the bass. You can rest it under the driver seat if you prefer.

@@stratdx If you’re powering the sound bar speakers with an amp, you’ll want to select the option that includes the additional tweeter. As for amp settings, those would be set based on personal preference. Some customers like to set their settings higher than others while some like to keep them lower than others. You’ll tune the amp once the speakers and amp are installed. Lower the gain to 0, increase the radio to 75% with all of the radio settings flatlined, slowly increase the gain until you hear the speakers begin to distort, then lower the gain slightly. Keep in mind speakers do have a break in period so the adjustment may need tuning over time. Hope that helps….

The reason I asked about the amp settings is that the Terra Acoustics told me to set the HP filter to 200hz, so I didn’t know what settings you recommended for optimal performance. I’ll mess around with it a bit and see what works best. I just ordered the alpine version from you, btw

@@stratdx Depending on the amp will determine which settings you’re referring to also. You’ll have options such as gain, filters, boosts, etc. depending on which amplifier you’re referencing. Fantastic, and great choice!!!

@@stratdx Glad that you received your bundle! The Alpine installation is the exact same as the Kicker installation shown in this video. Please let us know if you need anything at all. Remember, if your Jeep isn’t factory amplified, your pod will include the single coax vs the coax with the additional tweeter.

@@ohthecaptain These are upgraded speakers over the factory speakers. Regardless if the factory system is Premium or Standard, the quality isn’t par with true aftermarket upgraded speakers which will handle a ton of power. They’ll sound clearer and crisper over factory. If you’re wanting better sounds, upgrading the speakers will provide that for you. If you’re wanting top off, doors off, “loud”, you’ll want to look at a full bundle which includes an amplifier to provide the power needed for the speakers to perform at their optimal range.

@trailseven at that point, wouldn't it be more worth while to get a full system at a shop with an aftermarket head unit? I will say the the stock sub is woefully underpowered, even with the top on.

@@ohthecaptain That would be a choice for you to determine what is best for your build. We have plenty of full system plug and play bundles available along with a few head unit upgrade options, or you can choose to have a full custom system built and installed for you. @@jamescrooks5855 So far we haven’t come across any Gladiators with a different color. The shop JT is a 2023 as well. I would triple confirm prior to tapping into them.

@@heath0lear Sorry but I’d recommend grabbing a friend to help out in that scenario. The colors aren’t easy to distinguish anyway.

@@SouthernCL Sure it does. The grommet is still present which is the same for TJ’s, JK’s, JL’s, JT’s, etc.

On the manual and the auto? I have a manual and the clutch uses that grommet.

For those other manual transmissions out there, I routed it across the front floor behind the pedals and under the carpet over to the passenger side. This was pretty easy. Punching through the existing firewall rubber boot is a tad more difficult. An old metal coat hanger makes much easier work of it. Engine bay side its accessed behind the plastic wheel well. The power cable they provide is long enough.

​@@trailsevenI hooked the power up directly to the battery. The blue light on the amp never turns off.....is that an issue? Should it turn off? I noticed other comments mentioned this as well and didn't get a clear answer.

We filmed the install video last week which is in its final stages of editing and is due to release hopefully tomorrow. We’ll launch the product page which will include our Kicker Powered Down-Firing subwoofer bundle. The options include a 10” sub powered by the built in 400 watts amp and the 12” sub powered by the built in 500 watt amp. Our video will walk you through how to set up the complete plug and play powered sub into your Bronco which is compatible with both the B&O and Non-B&O Bronco.

@@AmarChumber It absolutely does. With the wired connection, you connect for screen sharing. To use this feature, the parking brake will need to be engaged, however I’m pretty sure there is a workaround to that. 😉

@@dreamcastfan6669 Our shop Gladiator used in the video is also used in the Amp install video using the factory amp bypass harness, which we leave the KCF unit installed/ inline.

@@redruso Those can be used to hold the camera into the housing, however they’re not needed and not used for our install demonstration.
