I have he green grenade version and must say it’s all aligned. I bought men from a uk authorised dealer. So the Japanese model doesn’t mean better quality control.

this application is completely unsuitable for the price of synchronizing a radio controlled clock. Why?? these watches expect a radio signal, not a click. it can only be with a radio signal. to set these watches!! Thanks

Seiko are as famous for cheesy bracelets as are they for misaligned bezels? We accept these faults and pay a premium for the pleasure?

I assumed what do you mean is that watch would follow whatever timezone was being set by your phone via signal emitted by JJY Emulator or Clockwave? Would this take into account of "Time Difference Correction Procedure" since my pmd56 (H100 Caliber) would only listen to Japanese Signal and my current PMD56 configuration is the follow: -Watch home time is Japan time (12:00) position -My current "Time Difference Correction Procedure" is -1 since Malaysia/Hongkong/Singapore is one hour behind Japan. When I run my Clockwave app in JJY Signal on my phone which is running at Malaysian time zone, should i set my timezone as Auto (whichi assumed would be malaysia timezone) or Japanese Domestic Clock which will show Japanese timezone on the app? Or I would need to change my watch time difference correct back to +/-0 (basically back to japan timezone) for the radio sync to work?

Your setting videos were particularly helpful. It is an excellent watch making a mockery of those many with a tool pretence.

you need open settings' in the clockwise app. which should be 'Auto' at top, then scroll down to 'Timezone', select 'custom' at bottom, then Select your time zone from dropdown window and save.. otherwise watch will revert to Tokyo time

Great tip! Just got mine and it hits all the marks perfectly. Another video claimed there is a mode to calibrate the hands if they are off. Hope your love affair with this watch continues. :)

Goodness....this was given to me as a gift in about 2018 or 2019. It has lived in the box since (I'm not a watch wearer). I finally had an event where a nice watch would have been nice to wear. I tried to follow the instructions on how to wind it, but no luck. Is there a trick to winding it?

There should be a plastic bit on the top of the clock which you pull out to activate the alarm. the star type dial on the back sets the alarm time and if you pull it out you can set the time

I know the bracelet is a little cheap but I love it I even replaced a worn out one I love it so much.

PMD56-2952 owner here. The bezel is not PVD coated, but DLC coated -which is a tougher and more scratch resistant coating. DLC stands for diamond like carbon 😉

Thank you for all the content on this watch. Your videos were a big reason I picked up a green dial today while vacationing in Japan. Bic Camera (chain store) offers a 15% discount to tourists if you provide your passport and pay with a Visa credit card. The Salesman was very adamant in his best broken English that the Atomic clock wouldn’t work outside of Japan. For $301 OTD I think I can live with that!

I have an identical clock bought from Ernest Jones a few years ago. Been going well until yesterday when it had a breakdown and wouldn't stop chiming. I have managed to pacify it and it is back on track. Unable to fix it as there's nothing to fix. Hope it remains calm from hereon in!

There actually is a lot of metal in the combi bracelet besides the clasp. The Chinese version weighs 24 g and the Casio weighs 56g. The difference is metal. The combi bracelet is much more comfortable than the resin bands, especially if any perspiration is involved.
