Canyon Lake First Trip 2023
For two years I've been wanting to fish Canyon Lake Arizona. Fish were stubborn and not biting. Everyone I talked to weren't catching. I did manage to donate a brand new Savage Gear glide bait to about 35 feet of water. I took a run up the river and captured some of the beauty of the lake.

Bartlett Lake October 2021
Просмотров 3002 года назад
Bartlett Lake Arizona fishing after an evening of a full moon. Just wasn't my day to catch fish. It was my day for great conversations with God. God doesn't always answer with a voice like many may think. If he did, I'd probably fall out of my boat. He does offer comfort, that feeling you get in your chest, signs around us, a stranger, family member, or friend who deliver his answers. All we ha...

Though I fished Roosevelt after twice at Bartlett, I didn't get this video out. Got some jigging practice in and landed 3 fish, Javi caught more I believe 4 or 5. When I wen t with Richard I didn't set up the GoPros, so no video. But I did get some pictures of several of our 20 catches for the day.
Roosevelt Lake Fishing June 2021

The day started out good. Tried a little top water, not my thing, no luck. Decided to use side & down imaging along with sonar to find a school of fish. Lots of ones and twosees until I found some in a tree. Drop shot was doing the trick. Still early I decided to move further up lake just as the wind was picking up. Needless to say, Roosevelt can get dangerous quickly with monsoonal type winds....

God delivers. I changed the purpose and intent of my videos to not just fishing for fish, but fishing for men. Many would expect more and bigger fish. I was happy with what I got. Remembering it's not my will but God's will that is important. All in all it was a good day, even with the wind and waves. The 3hour drive up and 3 hour drive back gave me a lot of time to think, pray, listen and be g...
3 Generations Fishing Colorado River Parker Strip 2021
Просмотров 7213 года назад
A nearly 5 hour drive from Tucson our son wanted to pre-fish the Colorado River on Parker Strip for an upcoming tournament. A first for all of us. With his birthday the next day he asked if his children could go. Fun family event for 3 generations. Trolling motor was barely holding the boat in swift current. Kids got hungry before we could do much at the other end of the river where eddies were...

A typical day at Patagonia. Had a bout with vertigo earlier in the week. Decided to take a short trip to check out the boat, tackle, trolling motor, and my stamina for the day and insure vertigo is under control. Preparing to hit the bigger more productive lakes. Next stop, Bartlett before the lake drop too much lower. Drone GoPro batteries charged up and ready to go for some real fishing.
My First Arizona Bass 2021

I'm starting out 2021 where I started 2020. On a small lake in southern Arizona north of the Arizona/Mexico border. Pena Blanca has a motor restriction of not more than 10hp, so it was a good lake to test out the Ulterra after getting it back from Martin Marine. Ernie checked it out and all was fine for the board and motor. Wiring from the plug was burnt part way up, so he replaced it. Watching...

Closing Out 2020 Memories - Tracker 175 TXW TE

2020 ended up as a learning year. I didn't catch the numbers of fish I anticipated. Not having owned a bass boat like this before with all the equipment I had added to it there was a huge learning curve for me. I was more involved in getting familiar with everything, than in filming. Now that I am familiar with the boat, the Helix graphs, the trolling motor, where position the boat to fish, etc...

I included the trailer brakes as a safety. For mountain roads and emergency stopping, definitely a benefit. For more level roadways less beneficial.

I love the 2 Humminbird units and the trolling motor upgrades. A 75 hp and power poles would make this an ideal bass club tournament rig. I have come to realize that 70 mph on water isn't nearly as much fun as people think it is. A 75 on this boat with a 4 blade spitfire stainless prop will get you in the mid 40s with no problem and for me, at age 62, that's plenty fast enough.

    • @movingtotucson3232
      @movingtotucson3232 Год назад

Budget determined at the time to keep the 60, though I agree a 75 would have been nice. Reservoirs are so deep here I'd hardly use power poles, if in shallower waters definitely would help.

Holding up good. At first I had some trouble with it cutting out. Turned out to be a lose connection at the plug. Mechanic didn’t secure it tight enough. Double check to make sure it’s connected to the remote before launching. Nothing worse than watching your boat float away with no control of it.

Parker lake is great for top water. There's some pretty big ass bass in there. Topwater frogs work really good in Parker lake. Best time to go is right when the sun comes up just before or at night. During the day you won't catch shit. At least during the warmer parts of the year which is most of the year😂 the back campground that is fenced off that's where you want to fish there are some cliffs over there. I wish somebody would have told me all of this before I hit up Parker the first few times lol if you're heading out from the marina you would go straight towards the dam and then it's one the right where you would find the cliffy area where the island would be. That's the only place I had any luck.

I just purchased a used 2019 Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW! It is red like my truck. Looks brand new. The gentleman that bought it new in Aug. of 2019 passed away 9 months later. His daughter sold it yo me, and I feel that God wanted me to have this particular boat. I had come close to buying 4 other Trackers but they sold before I could go to look at them. I was disappointed but knew that God would lead me to the right boat...and He did, as He always watches over us. I have enjoyed watching your videos and love that you also love Jesus and openly profess your faith. Thank you, and will keep watching for your next video. Plan to have my maiden voyage next week!! Good, informative review. I am surprised how much my adult son and I love our new-to-me 2017 PT175TXW. It rides and handles extremely well even in rough water and is very stable. We 3 200#+ guys fished out of mine for 3 days and put a lot of hours on it. Everything worked great and we never felt the boat rocking as we moved around in it. My only negatives so far is that the front storage compartments are not at all dry and get wet from the bottom up and it needs an automatic bilge pump switch (which I added). A pre-hurricane Zeta storm hit at night while mine was tethered, filled the hull with water and nearly sunk it. Less than a week later, the eye of Zeta hit while mine was trailered without the cover and it again filled with water. Everything in the front compartments and the under-seat compartments got flooded both times. It was a mess. The front V of the hull sits lower than the transom when trailered. It creates a sump which holds water and does not drain unless on a steep incline or moving on the water. I had to jack my trailer up about a foot higher than the full extension of the trailer jack to get the hull to drain all the water out. I wish mine had the trim gauge and water pressure gauge that yours has. The 2 small compartments in the rear work nicely as small insulated ice chests. We love the boat and are more pleased with it than the fiberglass bass boats I have had in the past, except for matter mentioned above.
