I'm playing laggy ass SoD and chest says locked-red even I got the key, deleted it, pickpocked again on another spawn of the Malformed Defias Drone. Can't even enjoy poisons until next patch/maintenance, for stuff that was always in the game I swear this stupid spaghetti code.

I just ran up to get the journal. Got it, but now I have the touch of zanzil debuff and so I can’t stealth to pickpocket the key….

Make the music louder

Garrote also instantly kills the patrols(doesn't require a dagger) and you cannot open the chest without lockpicking skill at 70 minimum

"you will need pretty much nothing" except lvl 70 lockpicking... i see now that you mentioned pickpocket lvl 70 in the comments, but you mentioned none of that in the video. you wasted a bit of my time now i gotta go back to lvl lockpicking. Since you didnt mention it i just assumed lvl 1 lockpicking is enough. im not mad or anything but if you make aguide you should be more theral.

Grabbed the Tower key and it doesn't work. Got to the top, sapped the elite, and the key doesn't work.

In that first phase against him (when he's using the sword) I feel like you should've used Rab's "clear your mind" it gets rid of all buffs on enemies including bosses which mordegon uses aplenty (had kabuff and oomphle on himself)

Just bypass this with a cheat engine. This is by far the only boss in the game not worth as a challenge as the challenge is all RNG an no real way to offset here. Will not be buying future dragon quest games and will no longer recommend after seeing the travesty that is this boss.

Currently on season of mastery there's packs of two. Without vanish or distract at level 20 I don't see how you could pull this off.. but yes you can sap the guy at the top the elite. And you can even sapp the first guy with a macro that includes pickpocket and I was surprised that the mobs do die instantly from a backstabber it's completely different on the hordes side you have to do a lot more.

you dont need to be 22 and have distract or vanish... it's easier but you don't need it...

i'm about to start this guy. My team is only lvl 53 right now and I just snuck by 3rd Harma trial so I have nice weapons. Thank You for keeping all the Draconian quests, and the farming info. I'll probably check if there's anything that's higher level than Loss Leader for xp farming; I did that in Act 1 and was 47 when I killed Tentacular; and you can go higher than that. I just never knew there was a mob in Snaerfelt that only showed up while it was 'snowing' Chihuawyrm. I had been using the Cyclops in Arboria to Electrolight off of.

my team was a little lower than yours, but it was like a 20min long fight where I had to use Elixirs :( Blunt & Dazzle do all the work; and you need someone who can turn off boss's pep-up. (Clear Your Mind and/or Wyrm Whip) otherwise you're just using Kazing every round

once you get Jade unlocked after Dundrasil you get Electro-Light and/or you can sail to Insula Orientalis and farm Liquid Metal Slimes I'm hoping to kill this boss and receive no xp from it being too low level
